This post was a testing post in addition to getting clarified a problem I had. Thanks for all genuine replies. Also I wanted to identify who are supporting different categories of vehicles.

After identifying their interests, I read their other post also by searching each of their names on the search box above (try it out!).

Then I realized many of them have their own agendas. Or few humans with different user names promoting their own agenda (may be working for a importing company).

I believe in the saying "there is no free lunch". So most of the repliers here (NOT ALL) are getting some kind of benefit from it.

I identified very few genuine repliers by analyzing their replies in different threads (I used content analysis techniques)

BOTTOM LINE

Most of the free advices here are not really costless (one you made the purchase you realize the cost).

Identify genuine reply before you make any decision. As I did.

I have seen a Maruti 800 following a major accident.That was actually a side impact.The car skidded during cornering at high speed and smashed on to a tree.Both the occupants suffered serious injuries,one even with a spinal.I saw the body of the car was torn from spot welded joints.Those welded joints simply have come apart.So I think these cars are no better than Trishaws.

So the point of this thread was what exactly? Did your lecturer set you a content analysis exercise and you decided an automotive forum would be a good place to try it out?

Therefore, my argument is that, to make the statement "Many of the members here post their OWN OPINION", YOU should know answers for at least two questions.

1. How many members are there in the forum?

2. Out of that how many make the true (own) opinion?

If you do not know the answers for these two questions YOU can't make above statement.

In a online forum like this where no one knows others true identity, how can you came to know whether they are telling own opinion or not without knowing them (so without knowing their intention of posting here)?

The only way this can happen is either

i. Majority of members in this forum are from one particular organization or group of fiends, or

ii. Though there are different user names most of them belongs to one person or group of persons, so they) know whether they are telling the truth (own) opinion or not.

If neither i nor ii above conditions holds YOU can't answer above questions 1 and 2.

I'm sure you don't accept above conditions i and ii.

Sorry, a majority means 51%, not many. You might be getting mixed up with most. I dunno if thats a logic fail, a language fail or a stat fail, but its a fail!

As for the opinion part, thats just common sense. If its right, if its wrong, if its backed by scientific proof or its just gut instinct, what anyone posts is their opinion. Unless they specifically say something like "In Clarkson's opinion..."

This is my opinion.

As to your i and ii theories, most of the active posters here have met at get-togethers, and other automotive events (races, car shows, etc). Most have met me, coz I tend to attend wearing an AL tshirt so ppl know who I am and come and introduce themselves and chat. So, yeah, MOST of the ACTIVE posters here are known parties. If you go to the member list and find the top 40 posters, at least 25 are people I have met personally, another 10 or so are people I've met online on FB and such, and then there is the people I don't know. And one spambot. So, yeah. MOSTLY known parties.

On a serious note... money plays a big role here when choosing a set of wheels but safety too should come 1st. both cars are not to my likeing specially on safety one can topple over and one can't handle side or rear impacts.

I stand corrected if you can drop by these auction places where u get to see these cars on head-on collisions and side/rear impacts. These cars just peel off. If u can go for something other then these choices would be good.

although we might drive carefully...the dude thats coming towards you might not
