  1. Nice write up Davy, Thanks for sharing
  2. Hi Guys, Does CS 3 come with a DOCH Engine ? Are there models ( 2003- 2008) coming with DOCH ?
  3. Hi Sorry for steering way the discussion, but would anyone know if it’s possible to repair broken vents ? Guys at the wash place I visit have broken it and it looks like it’s from the section where it connects to the dash. Thx
  4. Good to hear that, Where did u take her to ? As I got a similar problem and my fuel economy is pretty bad. Suspect the coil pack as I've hit 150K on the Originals (I think they are originals) . I also want to check other sensors such as cam, o2 sensor etc…
  5. Hay Komi, I don’t comment much on your tread ;but like a prayer, I visit it and have seen the progress over the months- Simply speechless & congrats on your project . Patience has finally paid I see- Just goes to show that some things are worth waiting. Good your guy hs a thing for plastic clips cause most guys are not bothered. Indika’s work has been great , should consider him as first option if/when I decide to do a repaint Great to see her out and running Cheers Mazdaspeed
  6. Hi I have the same car and also had the same issue , would recommend to go maximum 15” as you may face issues with the tyre walls hitting the inside of the wheel arch. I’ve put 185/65/15 which as solved the problem to a great extent and still got clearance to load and not touch the wheel arches
  7. Fully agree with CJ5 & Fixzit – best to go with a complete change of belts & tensioners – cost should be apx 20,000/- but can’t confirm for sure. Best to get a overall check on the car, as you never know what’s waiting to bite you. Also check on engine mounts, rack ends , and all key bushes. Is your ride a manual or Auto- in any case change the oil and filters as well as spark plugs. Good luck and welcome to the Mazda family
  8. Now don’t get me wrong but this question need not be asked as it’s obvious, and there noting happening about it either. However there was one nice notice which basically said “no parking for 3 wheelers” at Nawala water park. They are a nuisance rather than a help to society
  9. Like Komi Said – Go with what you feel like – F the rest Hearse - My foot. Those who told you this should defa go in a huarse……for good . It’s nowhere close to it, most dorks confuse a hatch with a wagon. There is a mazda wagon , which is much larger. I had a sedan and hunted 8 months for a hatch, got a bit of a bad deal as I could not find a manual hatch so had to settle for a Tiptronic. A sedan is also nice, handing will be almost good as a hatch, but a tad bit bland. Getting your hands on a hatch is also a trick but I saw a few advertised on AL – Always the case, when I want one, no one is selling , after you’ve bought it, there’s heaps advertised. Good luck , also welcome to the Mazda Family ( Early bird wishes )
  10. Like most of the members have stated, this limited edition is a good but as long as you know the pitfalls. Personally I prefer MT against tiptronic transmission which if not maintained carefully can be your worst night mare as I’ve gone through. The worries are now over as I got it sorted . found a chap who can handle the box. It’s hard to find out the issues – during a cold start if it does not shift in to drive position, and it takes a few minutes to engage - it means you have trouble . Is this a white colored hatch ???
  11. Done, So you've addressed the 7th Question- I too am very concern on the oil, hence I selected don’t care and in comments section put Castrol - Hope this help's
  12. Suba Aluth Aurudak Weva – to all on Autolanka.
  13. Wishing you all the very best on your Birthday & many more years of happy motoring years ahead
  14. Thanks all, will do some research and see – meanwhile if any of you know a good place who can do plastic welding, pls do share
  15. Hi Cross wind Yes that would be my first choice but the bumper I have is specific to the Navi Sport edition so would like to keep it although I’m tempted to go for a round fog light bumper I saw the guy Quoted 23K for it.
  16. Hi Guys, Sorry to have brought about an old topic, but since it was there though I might as well use the same. My buffer has been mucked by the painter guys with loads of putty which is now coming off. The bumper has some areas which is cracked and the guys has just bounded it with a wire and blasted putty over it. Is there a good joint where they do a proper fix (Plastic welding – I think they call it ) and also re do the clips also as few are broken hence the buffer sags a bit. Basically to get the buffer re done with minimal potty
  17. Hay Supra, Great show with no competition in sight in SL. I’ve basically put a reminder on the phone so I don’t forget it. Keep up the great stuff and good luck
  18. I recall a certain Mazda Astina having done over 300K , Charitha 19 care to shed some more info

  22. Very true and at the same time very true with what other members have said. There are 2 locations the least, where Peugeot’s are serviced outside Carmart. One of them recently ran an add on #####. You may want to check up on them. Going a bit OT – Colonial has opened up a service Centre in Battaramulla, I’m yet to pay them a visit but an a known contact who has a Mazda 3 had done the service there and was quite satisfied with the knowledge, service , staff attitude and location. Anyone else been there ? Please do share your experience. Glad to know there are options now for Mazda enthusiasts when it comes to servicing , lets hope Colonial will give due credit & respect for the Mazda Brand.
