Ever Seen A Wp Ea Number Plate?
harshansenadhir replied to Donnie Brasco's topic in General Automotive
Not issued to the public afaik. Those are being used for government vehicles and ctb busses. -
You find a lengthy queue even at around 6.00. They usually take in batches of 30 and you will be given a number starting from 1. The earlier you get the number, the earlier you can obtain the services. I went around 6 o clock and got the number 56 and left premises with the new DL in my hand at around 11.30sh. Impressed by the process, environment and level of service improvements.

A New Way Of Cheating At Fuel Sheds In Sl !!
harshansenadhir replied to Chathurike's topic in News & Updates
Thumbs up about the particular shed. I was pumping regular basis from the same place and one day the card refused to work and I didn't have cash on my hand. I asked wifey to bring some cash and come as I've pumped a tank full, which is close to 10k bucks. I couldn't believe when they said to bring cash later on without struggling now. But I didn't take that offer and paid and left after a while. -

Enigne Vibrates & Brake Pedal Goes Down
harshansenadhir replied to thou1584's question in Mechanical problems
OP is not very clear on this. However, if there's a distance difference in brake pedal travel, that itself can cause an extra vibration as the vacum and the diapraghm designed to accomodate a particular pedal travel but if it goes further the vacum demand can be more than what engine can generate at idle speed. Having said that, this does not solve the problem of why engine vibrates excessively in N position without applying brakes. -
A New Way Of Cheating At Fuel Sheds In Sl !!
harshansenadhir replied to Chathurike's topic in News & Updates
My my .. What a drama it was. I didn't give a rat’s a$$ when the thread initially popped up and I even continued to pump from the shed when I'm using the diesel car (For certain reasons I do not pump from C*ypetco when I’m using the 406). But now, after the stinking shit, the volunteer, save-our friend gang had left in this thread, I have no faith left-over by any means to re-visit the said filling station. Quite hilarious to see the extend some noble customers had gone to save their favorite filling station from the trouble and it even takes to a different level, when the owner appeared and gave a number belongs to C*ypetco leaving his numbers un-disclosed (Silvy deserves a +1 on this) All in all, no matter how reputed the fuel station is, be vigilant of the pump reading at the beginning, and if you cannot see the fuel flap (if it’s on the left hand side and is not visible even through the mirror) always stand next to the pumper (this makes them extra conscious, as another method of cheating is sudden deliberate cut-offs while pumping is not visible if you remain inside of the vehicle). Also be vigilant of the mileage you get from the fuel pumped from the particular station (prius boys and axio boys will beat anyone in this context as they maintain a CR book/log book to note down the date/time, number of liters, and mileage of each filling) -

Performance Modifications On Prius Gen 3
harshansenadhir replied to Prius's topic in General Automotive
come to think of it, a genuine requirement may be there with them. I'm thinking of donating the cassette motor (DC 6V, 12.5mW) I used to do some experiments, to one of those who's looking forward to add some horse powers to the system. -
yup, not the best place and there was a small fan installed from the inner side of the condensor. I remember cooling was sufficient but not the best
-
Guy who used to do A/C stuff of my old 504s did this once. Mounting the compressor is the biggest head ache and the owner sourced original mountings from Japan, cost him a lot back then. Mounted the condensor on the front most position of the boot and had to make some holes to ventelate the condensor. These holes were not visible much as the front bumper was giving some covering. System required quite a lot of refregirent as A/C tubing ran all over the car. The cooler was a hang on type universal cooler/blower unit.

You find far more post whores and trolls now, you better be innovative to beat this latest in breeds

Wb after a long pause.

Care to read the whole thread from the begining ? Most names you mentioned are already there. Also this nick name thing is not 100% accurate as no one keeps a bibliography of them. Even certain names you mentioned are not widely known for that matter.
-
Many happy returns of the day mate. Wish you a happy motoring year ahead !!

111 version equipped with 1.3l engine, which is slightly underpowered for an Automatic and burns little more than the 1.5 counerpart.

Didn't give my NIC, as I had a copy of the DL of the registered owner of that car in my possession and I haven't transferred. comprehensive and this NIC copy matter is there on case basis it seems, just to verify, you have a connection or to see whether you know the original owner, specially in case of jeeps. Not mandatory in normal procedure.
-
Was it one day or normal? This has been told by a guy who came to buy a vehicle from me. Will run through rmv And further confirm.
-
Typical useless advise by a makabaas fella, ignore
-
Nic or dl copy of previous owner should also required
-
Main suspects would be, oxygen sensor and the turbo engaging mechanism( I'm not quite sure how the valves are being operated in this engine, the 406 HDI engine equipped with electronically operated vaccum valves ) And the turbo itself. Proceed diagnosing in above order.

Prius (Hybrid) Stereo Set Up And Xenon Lights
harshansenadhir replied to fizz's topic in General Automotive
to answer your question logically, there are two batteries in a hybrid setup. The battery, which runs the motor and the battery which looks after the accessories, such as, lights, audio system, etc. This second battery is no different to a one can be found in a convensional car, thus adding of a setup or adding xenod HIDs won't be an issue. Check the user manual on adding accessories if you want to be more cautious and if you don't like to change the perfectly balanced power/charging system. Make sure competent electrian handls the job as we are talking about a car with advance eletrics. -
water bubbles coming out of the system as a result of boiling water does not necessarily mean that's a gasket leak. Gasket leak can be identified, if continous bubbles coming out of even when the engine or coolant temperature is low. Sudden temperature rise with presence of bubbles even when the system is not heated, is not a good combination and usually it's a gasket failure or a compression leak to the water channel inside the block (i've seen a damaged cylinder liner causing this in one example) as Don said, find the root cause of the issue without running it for any longer.
