    guys there is a cefiro i like in a car sale.. but if i buy directly from the owner itself i can reduce like 1 lakh that goes to the car sale guy.. so what im gonna do is get the address of the owner somehow from rmv and then visit his place or something and ask.. is this illegal to do? will i get into trouble if i do this..if he ask how did i find the adress bla bla then what should i say? please help cuz i still couldnt find a cefiro with good condition other than this..

      The thing is...the owner might have an agreement with the car sale. So even if he sells it on his own he still might have to pay him something. It might not be as much as 100K but there might be some fee he has to pay....depends on the arrangement. So see what can be done.

    went to inspect 3 cefiro's in 3 seperate corners of the country today and all of them were raped.. i think im starting to like the singapore export more (apart from the fact that i like the rear bumper in the jap version better than the singa).. comments?

    I'm officially looking for a Cefiro for 2 weeks from now as I found a genuine buyer for my Price. So let's all find a good Cefiro for me now shall we? :D Should be Auto... J numbers or above.. H number is also shape but reluctant... Should be Brown/ beige Interior.. Preferably White! Should be an EXCIMO (Jap Version)

    I'm losing my mind.. its happening again you guys.. this time I'm going crazy for the Cefiro.. I can't wait till i get my hands on a Cefiro.. not that I don't love the Presea anymore, its just that I have badly injected the thought about the Cefiro into my head and now won't rest until I get one..

    Who likes to volunteer to come with me to inspect a Cefiro this saturday (would be a joy ride to downsouth) :) as I dont know what to check in a big engine like this

      The thing is....at the end of the day..when a car is 15 - 18 years old...whether it was a brand new import or a grey import with a high auction grade means utter bs....heck...even after a year or less (with just one owner who used it) those things mean bs. What eventually matters is how the previous owners have taken care of it and what it is like now. If there were technical differences between the export and JDM variant that lead to issues..then nearly 2 decades down the road those would have already been attended to.

      You have add the number of car as HB-XXXX in the advertisement, but it's clearly visible on the images you have added :D:D. And in two images number plate is WP and in one it's NW :)

      Hey guys took the bange for old times sake...sweaty, dirty trip but fort to Kandana in less than 30 minutes is waaay impressive. I probably exposed myself to some viruses tho ? sneezing ever since ?

      @matroska - come in that 7.15 shuttle that leaves from fort.. only 7 people are going in that and only 100 bucks per day.

      @iRage you mean R11? presea R11 and primera is P11... the R11 refina goes for about 18 these days... haha well yeah maybe,, i dont really know what i want to do at this moment... i want both... i just want to sell the presea for a higher price than the cefiro cuz then i can keep that extra money for the repairs in the cefiro.. otherwise il regret one day knowing that there was nothing wrong with the presea and i sold it and if i go broke maintaining the cefiro...

      No..I meant that Primera P11...there were two in very very good shape that went between 1.9 ro 2 mil..so its surprising that a Sunny in a different body goes for the same price :)

      In my earlier comment I asked why it was so high because I thought the Primeras ran for the same price....

      I use JAUCE to search and fromjapan.co.jp to order. Okay so far.

      Jauce search is better but since the entire site needs to be Google Translated, buying isn't easy IMO. Fromjapan prices are more or less similar to Jauce.

    yes after I crank the engine again, it starts easily again and never ever stops.

    in the morning, its the same spot though.... evening not the same spot.... im not sure if it comes before or after but both happens in the same time.. is it alright to wait for few more days and then take the car to inspect?

    There is a bend.. also few times, like driving for 400m after work also the engine stopped.. sometimes not in bends and sometimes in direct roads... however the car only stops once per one way ride, so twice per day thats it.. so can thelose connecter be associated with the alternator or battery? or any other component?

    Does an Ignition Distributor depend on whether the engine is an EFI or CARB? I mean if the same car model came in EFI and CARB engines, would the ignition distributor of one engine support the other engine model?

      no idea in carb, but old days efi had it. now in efi, distribution is electronically controlled. in presea, if you remove delco cap & clean distributor fan arms, you may notice good acceleration due to proper electrical contact which gives better ignition.

      the R10 came in both card and EFI.. the R11 came with only EFI

    Guys, everyday in the morning after driving 400m, my car stops automatically at the SAME SPOT it stops everyday (its like an extra terrestrial activity) along with the battery and the alternator check lights coming up... I checked the battery today and the guy said there is nothing wrong int he battery level.. do you think the alternator is at fault? what i dont understand is how does it stop at the very spot everyday and not in a different spot? and only it stops once per day at this spot...

      Guys i changed my mind again.. the gf option doesnt work.. just went on a date with a girl 2 days back and got bored of the gf thing.. so decided to sell the car and buy something else instead..

      like I said, im really bored and depressed with my monotonous life, and I need some sort of an entertainment hey... so i decided to switch cars every 6 months and drive all the cars I wanna drive and make my life interesting.. but however, if i dont find a buyer for my asking price, i wont sell it for a loss.. il just keep it until i find one for my asking price.. but since i know that i can find a presea anytime this time and restore it to the way i want, if i ever regret, i can always buy another presea and do the shit i wanna do in it :D it was foolish of me to look at a lot of requirements on the presea initially like (white, manual, less mileage bla bla) while i could have bought any presea and restore it..
