  1. I'd just ignore it at this point ? I mean, you've already changed 4 engine mounts and replaced CVTF prematurely trying to get rid of this issue neh. How much you're going to spend with no improvement to show for it? If the agent couldn't solve the issue, you'll have to take her to a transmission specialist like Nilwala Motors...
  2. The primal need of reproduction has been overridden with the hypnotic facination caused by the car ?
  3. Nope... maybe a drain channel?
  4. Who woulda thought ground clearance is such a pressing issue for car owners ? I feel spoiled ? @kush how many times did you manage to bottom out the Lancer?
  5. I didn't get the joke ? Are you insinuating that the car in question is popular among the gay community (like May said about the Jeep wrangler?)
  6. Oh no, it's a 4A91.
  7. Try this place https://g.co/kgs/sK8yCf AFAIK the 141 export edition wasn't sold in Japan so IDK how there is a Japanese used bumper - maybe it shares the same bumper with some other JDM vehicle?
  8. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
  9. Meanwhile I found the perfect 3 point turn video for you to watch before practise
  10. No idea... but the manufacturer knows best neh
  11. Nope. Check this out https://www.mitsubishi-motors.com/en/showroom/lancer/specifications/pdf/specifications.pdf "Minimum turning radius" means curb-to-curb turning radius - usually this is what the manufacturers call the "turning radius". "Maximum turning radius" means wall-to-wall turning radius, according to my users manual the wall to wall turning radius is 5.4m
  12. No, look at the adjacent panels immediately above the headlights. You can see its misaligned. Besides, if the misalignment was caused by the lights both sides would have been similarly misaligned ne.
  13. Why does the Swift has a turning radius of 5m? It's exactly the same turning radius of a much bigger Lancer ex
  14. Not really funny tho, poor car
  15. Go for a Raize 2WD if you're looking to buy a brand new car
  16. Dedicated thread with pics please! ❤️ Eg:
  17. The ground clearance is abysmal though... word of advice, avoid roads under construction whenever possible. RDA have no idea that anything below 150mm of GC (a FD4 narrowly made it without bottoming out) could be possibly running on SL roads
  18. What would happen if they've used r134a instead of r1234yf?
  19. If we cannot expect a body shop to be arsed to cover the wheels when repainting a car then woe be us...
  20. Effin' pickup driver reversed onto the rear bumper while I was parked ???

Luckily the damage is minor, I'm on two minds whether or not to get the bumper repainted or leave it as it is

Missing out on activity on the forum these days as I'm preoccupied with family matters. Sorry to see the damage, but that's not a big deal IMHO. Just touch it up and don't bother painting the entire bumper. Painting over the original paint for a scratch as small as this is just not worth it.

I'm not sure if my eyes are deceiving me, but I don't see any exposed metal. When clear coat is scratched, it does turn white or an opaque colour. So might be that?

Since you've already touched it up, now use a light cut and polish to remove the roughness of the touch up paint. Do the same for the bumper as well. This will minimise the "untidy" appearance of the touch up paint because it will cut down the paint to the level of the paint of the car.

@K.o.N.o.S It was a guesstimate, they said the cost could be higher... and yes, the damage cannot be seen in the first glance

@trinity called UNIMO on the accident site with the pickup driver, they guesstimated it could be around 8k so the got the pickup driver to cough up 8k and let him go. Called the insurance (c******o) too, they paid 9k on the spot and told me to inform them if the repaint costs more than that... all in all I'd incur no monetary loss if I go through the full paint route

@Davy I didn't see any exposed metal either but I had some touch up paint in hand so covered it up lest there be rust spots somehow in the future

OMG! I know that awful feeling! Better to go for a place with a painting booth, but if you are closer to Kurunegala, I can suggest best place I know.

  21. I said "for KONOS" ? Even if you needed an ABS sensor for your Swift you won't find an OEM one from Aliexpress ne. ?
  22. I bet you can't find an OEM ABS sensor for KONOS from your beloved aliexpress...
  23. You could buy 2 OEM ones from eBay for 15k neh. Besides, you don't use the car on weekdays if I remember correct - right? You'd lose only 4 days of driving
