2nd gen Juke? It looks like it shrunk a bit compared to the previous gen , looks quite great tho, but is somewhat conservative compared to the 1st gen. Wasn’t really a fan of how the first gen looked, but it was indeed quite quirky

Correct. Actually 2nd gen looks more like the 1st gen was on steroids. And all the parameters have grown in 2nd gen.

Oh that's interesting, for some reason the proportions made me feel that it's smaller than it actually is

well this is news that this exists in SL! Pretty soon we are going to lose track of all the Chinese EV's that are there.

Indeed, it’s an Avatr 11

It’s apparently a joint venture with  Huawei supplying the motors etc and software, so quite interesting to say the least

 
It’s not the biggest vehicle around, but is reasonably large, think the low roof accentuates it further

I can't help but start humming Super Trooper followed on by The winner takes it all and ending with Knowing me Knowing you every time I see one of these.  What these engineers did was brilliant ! If you are going to go down you might as well go down showing the finger to the pencil pushers right?

Ironically back in the US this was a popular car with architects and accountants

That is the only thing they make now right ? Or at least they used to until recently...the jet influence can easily be seen in the cockpit design of their cars.

Okay.in the interest of keeping the thread going...I shall post a vehicle. This should be pretty easy if you have been on the usual SL FB car pages the last few weeks.
Was considered to be rather ugly looking at the time with rather pig-like facial features.

Yesterday I was passing the teledrama location of 'doo daruwo' and I remembered this model. Rs. 15mil for this is a lot I would say.

You legend, I remembered the same when I saw the related pop up on social media.

I don't think the FJ55 was on the Tele, wasn't it a gasoline model?

The 40 series price skyrocketed recently, and some owners dream of having 5 mil for their rust buckets. I heard from Dad that some were quoting the above-mentioned FJ55 sold for 15 mil, so the 40 series is not far from the above bucket.

Yes..the car is a J55 Toyota Land Cruiser. At the time of release the Americans found it so ugly that they nicknamed it the "Iron Pig"  
This would be the start of the Land Cruiser wagon series....I found the car cool in the early 80s as it was one of the main cars in the TV series "Born Free"

Cannot be.
1. Japanese manufacturers stopped putting those emission rating stickers (the green and blue oval stickers) in 2021. So the car is too old ot be a recent import.

2. If this had an early (to before 4200) CBM number then this could be one of my wife's colleague's car (the person is Japanese and the car was up for sale as the family is leaving SL). Do these cars get new numbers when they get transferred to a local ? It was not a DPL registration. Expat to expat it doesn't (a Prius changed hands between expats and the number did not change). I assumed with the new format it would just retain the number just that the color would change (from blue to black).

Still trying to figure out how you managed to get that picture (the light and almost the entire side mirror...strange sort of angle. from straight back but slightly to the left ?)
