no.

u can't have WP or fuel type on old license plates

in the old system, the front plate must be black with white fonts on it.

note - I didn't write the rules.

When the vehicle's registration changes from one province to another the rmv issues a new plate such as these IMHO. Besides it has the government logo on it.

since when did the government start issuing plates that begin with '3' ???

these plates are local(not from the government) i think this is ok..bt if u have original English number plates.u cannot have locally made number plates.its illegal.

in this case..using government sign is illegal

Still, the GOV does not issue plates starting with 300, 301 or 302 - , unless you do an petrol to diesel (or vice- versa) conversion you cant have WP or fuel type in your old license plate...

Stop answering for posts off the top of your head. Technically one can get sued or fined for using these type of plates for old number series. But the trouble is most cops don't know this law so people also think it's ok.

That doesn't mean that u can't get in to trouble for using these plates. So it's always better to avoid these.

Government also aware of that, that's why recent plates have "DMT" in small letters on top of letters and numbers, but last week I saw a 59- van carrying a replica of that too.
