Does the latest model Allion coming without push start as well?

If that so can we do it in locally? like what we are doing for multifunction.

Also what will be the price different between with and without push start.

Machang, yo can fix one of these on the dashboard. Add about 75k on top of the prcie. An Allion Junky will surely buy it.

All manual transmission cars as well as three wheelers come with the push start option.

yes you can. all you need is a few 'kudu kaarayo', if you can't find anyone else.

Also what will be the price different between with and without push start.

100 bucks a person

'mazda axela',

You can buy high quality 230 volts 10amps pannel board push buttens at 1st cross street which will fit into your board.

You will need a relay too... :)

'VVTi',

Must check the wiring diagram some times can operate the starter moto without a relay.

Self sarter motor solonoid draw in very little current. 10 ams push butten switch will be enough.

Naah, Sylvi, You just connect the starer motor directly to the battery, pull a 50 amp cable from the grounding and connect that to any domestic Door bell switch, (Clipsal or Orange), take the positive line, connect that to the ECU, Boom. You got yourself a Push Start car!

Simple! DIY Value Addition to your car!!

You will end up with an Allion, ALL your neighbours will be envious of.

Thank you Sylvi, I help where I can... :)

How would you do it?

'VVTi',

Please put your new system wiring diagram on a drawing and post same to A/L. it is very dificult to understand where to connect on the ECU. Other wiring can manage.

Guys ... give this chap a chance as well :sad-smiley-058:

Its not an Allion if it doesn't have Push Start and illuminated scuff plates these days :D:speechless-smiley-003: :speechless-smiley-003:

mazda axela,

I have seen an add on sunday H*i Add sometime back where they convert normal ignition to push start. Try Pet#o, i have seen they does the multifunction steering conversions, so high chance they will be able to do this as well.

If not try sourcing something like this through eBay and get it fixed.

Sylvi, on the Allion ECU there is a small socket that says, START/STOP, you plug it there. But make sure you use the 50 amp wiring though. You might need a MCB (Orange or CrabTree) also as the Door bell switch will not with with the normal auto fuses. So in case the MCB 'trips' you can throw it back on with a wink and impress the ladies in the car. I have a similar thing set up at home to turn on the water pump. Real crowd pleaser that is!

He hee ... im afraid ur correct VVTi :D

And also in the advert it says, the key should be in the ignition and in "On" position to switch on the electronics & to turn off the immobilizer.

A trishaw which i happened to travel recently had got some switches like this attached to its dash board.I think they are for switching on those "thorana" type LEDs which that guy has fixed all around his trishaw. If I can find the guy who did that I'll give u his number.. coz the process won't be much different i think... true story so KIT.!

I cannot understand 50 amp wiring to ECU. There are some household or industrial electrical switches can be used for automobiles.

I have used 120 amps for MCCB for disconnect main power supply on automobiles. Self starter motor had direct connection.

Dear 'Sylvi'

For teh life of me, I have no idea too... :)

But it works... :)

Cars do have large ampere cabling. You should take a look a thw Alfa engine bay. The radiator fan runs off a 50 amp fuse and cabling.

For the Allion it is the same set up, actually you can connect the negative to the startmotor directly and switch the car on. But make sure you use the proper Door bell switch and MCB.

I don't think so. Most of the latest Toyota vehicles comes with this Push Start/Stop button. Have seen latest Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, VISTA and RAVE has this option.

wrong! it does come without push start on the "standard package". this model is easy to identify because it doesn't come with black plastic surrounds on the window frames. and it doesnt have climate control.

I'm using 2007 Standard 260 package and mine has everything what you mentioned (Push Start/Stop, black plastic surrounds on the window frames and climate control)

Wrong again! What you have is a normal a15. there's a cheaper version below it. it was sold with both the 1.5 and 1.8 l engines
