I'm looking for something that would ideally be around 2.2 million not exceeding 2.4 million. My main concern is the Fuel consumption. It needs to be quite fuel efficient and durable. It should have a good secondhand market also. Whats the car you would recommend ? Please help me.

You can go for an ES8 Exi Manual. It does about 11 kmpl in the city. You can also try the ES8 VTi which has a similar fuel economy :)

Please help

Only trouble it will be on the higher side of your budget ~2.4 million and u will not have many options. If you can live with that (and live with the fact that its made in Thailand), Vios is a good choice.

You could buy a EURO that does around 10kmpl (city) for even less than the amount u can afford, between the year 2000 and 2004... plus it will have more features than all of the japs in that price range OR even higher...

Give it a thought.... :speechless-smiley-004:

As a Vios owner myself, I'm saying go for a Civic. The Vios you will find for your price range will be manual and will have very crappy leather seats.

couldnt agree more,

IMO you can buy a 2006/2007 Grande Punto for 2.2mil. does 12-13 in traffic / 15-17 outstation.

the looks, the options, the comfort and quality is superb for the money you pay...

I second The Annoying Guy's comment. Grande Puntos are just lovely rides. Looks great, rides great and does great on fuel. In fact, I once clocked around 20km/l on a trip to Kandy.

Only problems is the duologic gearbox which is kinda difficult to get used to. Better half hated it. Had to get rid of it cos of that.

The simple fact that DD drives one as his daily proves its a great car.. his car looks stunning with the big alloys and the front lip.
