I got a good deal for a really good looking fiat 600,good engine,but bit loud and white smoke when revvering up a hill.... its 2.5 lahks...

and Mr. komisiripala said that he saw an abandoned fiat 500!!! wonder how much its worth,any help?

That price tag is very attractive. Its a serious concern if you dont get white smoke in an averagely maintain 50+ year old Fiat 600. Surely you can rectify that without a major problem, if you have a good technician. My advice..go for it mate! Good luck!!

Is it Fiat 600 or 6000? Coz we used to have a fiat 6000 when I was really really young.

Excuse me if there is no model like dat. ma memory is bleak and I can remember ma mom saying its 6000 who is not an expert. But i can remeber da engine was placed in rear of da car. We used to call it "Ape IBBA". I Must have been 3-4. Ahhhh. I just rembe something. Can u guys remember a Sinhalese comedy tele-drama on Rupavahini called "Sindu Bindu"? With Gotaimbaa? lol. In one of da episodes they had one of these cars and they wee trying to bring da engine to front.

and it had suicide doors.

Fiat 500s had suicide door models produced upto mid 60s.Then the front hinged models were introduced.Early 600s also had suicide doors except Abarth versions. (correct me if im wrong). Guess you had an early model 600.

Then the model you checked is an early model 600.Thats a good news.The classic value is high. Yes Fiat didnt deliver a model called 6000.

Mate...buying a 50+ years old car is a big challenge. If that 600 is going to be your first car, situation is worse.Looks like you have not done your home work yet, situation is practically like getting married...its a commitment plus a serious responsibility. Think twice, thrice before you waste 2.5 Lakhs on a white elephant. Fiat 600s are great cars, needs lot of TLC plus expertise.
