My Civic Ek3 Got Oil Leak

hi

my honda civic ek3 1996 model get oil leak from from power steering pump.

when i brough i got replaced my power steering pump for second hand used one from delkada for same issue, 4 months it runs well.

again from january it gets leak from top of the pump?

what is the solution for this.

Welcome to the forum.

According to the photos you have shared, that actually looks like the o ring/gasket behind the hose connected to the pump is worn out. At least that looks like the place where oil is leaking out from. Replacing the o ring/gasket with a new one and re-installing the hose will solve the issue.

well had same experience on a ek3 . you have to taken out the power steering pump & replace the o ring. this will solve your problem. cost will be around 2000/-

Well crap on a cracker I have the same problem! Should see to it. Didn't think it was so simple

Yep Komi.. it's not simple if power sterring pump other parts are worn. if so once you fixed this if it starts to make hum sound when turning left & right must be carefull

yes i also think like that, some one says to buy the pump repair kit and do it, repair kit cost 6k

will see , this sat i am going to meet expert

Yes, I did 6 months ago and parts were purchased at access motors. it was 3K. you need to replace gasket, few o'rings and bearing too. my one still ok. got for the good honda technician for repair

hi yesterday did the repair from waruna kesbewa....

his suggestion was to replace power stering pump for recondition one because wheel of the pump also not align correctly.

found good pump for 5000rs from delkada and replaced id.

waruna did good repair, replace my timing belt,fuel pump and air filter and also clear the air path because its very dusty. now my engine sound got reduced and hav good fulling power than previos.

i am very satisfied with what waruna did......he is an expert
