Mitsubishi Lancer Cs3 2008 Or Nissan N17 2008

Hi Guys, We are planning to buy "Mitsubishi Lancer CS3 2008" or "Nissan N17 2008". More or less both are same except engine capacity (CS3 - 1600cc and N17 - 1300cc). CS3 will cost 2.3 and N17 will cost 2.2. As far your experience which one is more worth to buy? Thanks

The CS3 is the better buy, but I think they mostly came as manuals. Better handling, good power to weight ratio, better economy at higher speeds, and comparable spare parts availability (because engine parts are very freely available for both, but body parts for the N17 needs to be bought brand new. With the CS3 you will have some used parts available).

That generation of Nissan Sunnys (the N16, the N17 and FB15) wasn't as solid as previous versions, while the CS1, CS2 and CS3 are regarded to be fairly solid cars with few issues.

CS3 has the upper hand here. If it's GLX it should have ABS,dual airbags, factory fitted 6 CD changer and fog lights. Since the car has an auto box just check whether it's CVT or not. CVT is good on fuel.

The lancer is a far better choice,

and here you are comparing a top of the range cs with a low grade N17 so again it's the lancer.

The N17 is not a bad car but still the lancer will be better

The CS3 (1.6L) also came with CVT. Just not sure if there are any examples in our country.

There was a CVT CS3 up for sale recently. Black one manufactured in 2010. Asking price was bit high hence it remained unsold for a considerable time.
