My Friend got 2010 Hybrid car ( i think it is FD3) and got an few issues

1. Battery back has failed and got a IMA error light

2. if accelerate more than 5000 RPM , engine gets RPM vari afterwards. looks it get fuel cut off some thing like that. ( just to explain , not sure what it is)

what could be the issue with ? could it be MAP sensor?

You are probably hitting the rev limiter. My Axio Hybrid has a max RPM of 6000 and no redline, so I'm assuming it must be similar to yours. As far as the traction battery is concerned you'll have to get it looked at by either Stafford or some other place.
