Hesitation During Acceleration - Lancer C12

Hi,

I am experiencing some slight hesitation when i accelerate from a stand still.

I cleaned up the distributor cap and the contacts to the wires but I still seem to be having this problem.

While driving the car pulls very well (no misfiring).

During idle there is zero vibration.

Any idea what I need to check? How do I know if my distributor is working fine?

How's the plugs? does your dizzy have CB points? if so how are they? <condition>

Why not invest in a good tuneup?

I was not able to check on the car today (as it was raining pretty bad). I dont have the tool to remove the spark plugs to check its condition. I personally feel that it might be an electrical problem from the way i get the hesitation during driving.

Yes, I will need to give the car for a good tune up. I will wait for next month though as that is when I will need to do the eco test again. Until then I would like to troubleshoot this problem as much as I can. xD
