Mechanic around Mount Lavinia

Hi,

I'm looking for a good mechanic around Mount Lavinia (Dehiwala or Moratuwa also fine) to get the engine mounts repaired in my Corolla 110. There are a few Au*o Mi*a*'s around but I don't really trust them based on my previous experiences. I checked in the sticky topics about mechanics also but couldn't find anyone around this area.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Have heard good things from members about a chap called Shafiq (or is it Shafeek). I think Shaz auto works is the name of the place. Try PMing The Don or Komisiripala for the details.

The number should be there. The number is of his business manager (cousin/brother ?) Malik....

Shafeek is really good....he is the only guy who figured out what had to be done with my 7A-GE and got it working (by the following morning) without me having to give a 30 min lecture ! 

Only hitch is the guy has quite a few projects and when its closer to a race he is pretty much jam packed with work.

@Twin Turbo: Thanks for the suggestion. It would probably cost me a fortune to get this done at Toyota Lanka, so I'll pass that option
