Familia BJ5P Special Edition Rear Brake Caliper

HI All,

Is there anyone know a place to buy a REAR BRAKE Caliper (Left) for BJ? I tried both Delkanda and Panchikawatta. But with no success. If someone have that part please contact me. Or is there anyone knows whether it(caliper) can be repaired or not?

What is the reason to replace ?, Corroded or seized. Probably can be repaired.

You may try US Parts* in Hill Street Dehiwala or Taiyo in Mount Lavinia too.

Did you show them the part? Unless it is a frequently moving part it would be difficult find the part otherwise.

talk to mazna, rear disks only came in rs models and a few familias. Doubt anyone would stock this item.

Difficult to find because of its special size. Try shops in WIjerama junction if you haven't tried already. Was able to find a caliper repair kit from there.

I'm looking for this part because it drained all oil within 20km ride around panchikawatta.

Again the same question as others above - why do you want to replace the caliper? Unless it has sustained a serious mechanical damage to it, you should be able to get it repaired with a repair kit. While you are searching for the whole caliper why not ask for the repair kit?

also  Ichiro Motors highlevel road , they had a few in stock.

A reason to loose fluid within a short time could even be something simple like deteriorated brake washer. Try the repair kit if you don't have any other reason to have the full caliper.
