Lancer EX or Nissan Tiida

Hi Everyone.

Am planning to buy a car and thinking of above 2 models. Found the market price of Lancer EX 2008 model around 39K and Nissan Tiida Latio 2008 model around 32K. Please compare these 2 models for economy/repair works / ware and tare etc...Thanks in advance.

Never driven,both. Been a passenger in Tiida. Spacious,but NOT COMFORTABLE. Fuel economy wise both would be equal. On the performance side also. Lancer would be the better buy, but maintenance could be a problem. Please use the search option for more details about Lancer EX, which has been extensively discussed before.

EX all the way if you find a good specimen. Tiida's not half bad either - had one in the family very spacious and a good vehicle for daily use but overall the EX has the undeniable wow-factor

Well below the other two feature wise and even in terms of driving. Some beltas don't even have a tachometer (rpm) and is basically an overpriced vitz with a boot ? it's a local favorite due to the Toyota badge but Lancer EX >>>>Tiida >>Belta.

If you're going to for a Lancer EX, may I suggest looking for a GLS which is the fully loaded version with projector headlamps, fog lights and all bells and whistles. The lower trim is GLX.
