What was the capacity? by any chance is it 1.5 rated with 82 bhp ? but that is 85 coz 70 came up with 1.3 AFAIK. Pretty impressive for a 1.3 car

it sure is. especially for a car thats over 2 decades old and is shaped like a block on such a short stretch of road.

It is a standard 1.3 litlre 68 bhp & has a 4 speed gearbox and a WEBBER Carb. Yes not bad isn't it?

Well Regata's don't look like a block but a more aerodynamic block he he.. Yes the stretch is short but my target was 100mph, which i believe i would have hit it if i had a little more straight road..

Hi Guys

The quickest I have gone is 290 km/h in an Audi RS6.

It has a stage one chip by ABT which has increased power from 580 bhp to 700 bhp.

Had to slow down for some trucks on the road.

Fastest in Sri Lanka was 230 km/h in a Ford Escort RS Turbo, stage 4 tune.

That Audi sounds impressive, where was it, Germany?

and as to the the SL speed, where did you manage that? and is that car still around?
