The Latest Need 4 Speed Game

I'm looking to get (if possible originals) need for speed high stakes and Porsche unleashed for the PS1 (yes its the 1. its not a typo lol) cause for me. those were/are the best NFS games up to date. (not too sure bout shift) I've hated the nfs line ever since the whole stupid nitrous powered new nfs games came out. so if anyone has these 2 game cd's, please reply to this or send me a PM, cause I'm dying to get them. thanks guys. V

bro try ebay...there are guys who sell retro games cheap.i recently got the first three final fantasy games for the ps1(though me ps3 did not recognise 2 of the damned things)...and if you can order both from the same seller to save on shipping

or you can try posting a wanted thread on gamer.lk...ripper and me have found some sweet deals through it

With the latest NFS release, feel it is time to say good bye to my PC gaming as the game developers are out doing my PC capabilities.. and time to move on to a game console..

Out of the popular consoles (X box, PS3, Nintendo Wii, etc)which one can be most recommended as a good buy? What are the places in Colombo where I can buy them... Saw that a PS3 will cost $300 online.. Any idea about the selling prices here....

Porsche Unleashed/2000 has great replay value. I still play it along side Pro-Street, when I yearn the need for a proper simulator rather than an arcade game. I'd recommend the XBOX 360, I've had one for 2 years, a single Rs40k investment back then. I was tired of spending major $$s for annual computer upgrades. The XBOX 360 is capable of VGA output, so you can hook it up straight to your computer's flat panel. I do miss the mouse/WASD (not going to invest in half baked goods like the XFPS or XIM 2), but I do not miss my annual Rs50k computer upgrade.

btw they just announced the new formula 1 game,to be released in september...this is the first f1 game released by codemasters and not by sony...so it wont be a playstation exclusive like it's predeccessors

based on other racing games like GRID and CM:Dirt from codemasters which were very unrealistic...i hope they wont make it like a arcade style gameplay so EVERYONE can play it so they'll sell more copies <img src="http://forum.autolanka.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mellow.gif" />

ok Codemaster's F1 2010 was released last month.I've been playing a pirated version(Razor1911) on my lappy since yesterday...AND IT'S AWESOME!!

I was worried they were gonna make the racing physics too cartoonish,but was pleasently suprised how challenging it is...There are a couple of bugs I heard.but i'm sure the patches are on their way.

Hey guys, any of you play NFS Shift on PC? I bought it a few months back, drove it in typical NFS style and found meself endlessly crashing. So I forgot about it. But it recently sparked my interest again, I drove properly and this time I actually found myself staying on the track.

My question is, do any of you guys have steering wheel setups? I play on keyboard and that's a bitch to control the car. Just wanna know what good stuff is out there. I had my eye on a Logitech G27 but that's about 50k in Sing.

Any suggestions for a good setup? And any places I can check out?

I've never really used gamepads to a large extent. Wasn't really a fan cause they start hurting my thumbs and all.... But that Xbox controller looks comfy... will check it out. Thanks!
