Hi all.... i have some questions to ask now...

01. Is it possible to install a turbo timer to a diesel vehicle? if so where can i get this done and how much would be a turbo timer ?

02. Can u install a blow off valve to a diesel vehicle ? Price ?

03. How long do i have to keep the engine on idle before switching off (time to cooldown the turbo)?

If you're taking a trip down south there's a guy that we got ours from.. it was a place in matara... it was 1200 or something like that (made in sri lanka).. you can get it and fix it yourself or get them to fix it for you.. and it has a preset on the back which allows you to adjust how long you want the engine to iddle before turning off.. very simple gadget,,, little black box with three wires...

Yes you can fit a turbo timer and a blow off valve to any vehicle with a turbo from what I know

the reason why they are not fitted by default to non sports vehicles is the turbos do not get stressed to the point they need to cool down a bit before being shut off

the blow off valve probably isn't present as the amount of boost generated is quite low

but that doesn't mean they cannot be fitted in, the turbo timer is quite easy to obtain and lots of places fit them including sun lanka darley road.

the blow off valve isn't a complicated job, though i do not know anybody personally who fits them on a regular basis

2.This is a bit tricky question,cz diesel vehicles doesnt have a throttle pedal,but accordeing to HKS

The Diesel blowoff uses an electronic/mechanical throttle trigger in conjunction with the pneumatic actuation of the standard SSQV

but if u wanna know the price an Apexi one will come around 250$(I'm not sure the latest price)

3.Depends on how u use it,Price is around 10000

specially addind a timer a great investment on your turbo,because you are not the only one who use the vehicle so they might not know that the vehicle have to leave for a sometime before switch off
