Toyota Premio or CHR or Prius?

I'm planing to buy used vehicle. Premio 2010-2012, Chr 2017, Prius 2016 are on my shortlist? What are your ideas about this? Thank you in advance.

Is the CHR petrol or Hybrid.

Both everyday A to B vehicles. Reasonably comfortable and spacious (the Premio and Prius more than the CHR).

Reliability and being economical to run would depend on the vehicle's condition and how you will use it. Which car would be more viable would depend on how long you plan to keep it for.

It would be easy to give an answer if you explain more about your requirements like

Fuel economy 

Options 

Repairs

Comfort

Purpose of use (for family , long or short trips)

Congratulations. You should start your own thread with pictures. We love pictures of cars. If there are no pictures of your car we will just assume that you have gone crazy, started day dreaming and that the car is just a figment of your imagination

After major service by TL, which includes engine tune up, Fuel consumption was slightly increased, Any thouhts about this?

What was this tuneup ? <FYI...modern cars don't have the traditional tuneup we Lankans have in our minds which is from the 80s and earlier relating to cars with carburators and required actually "tuning" the carb. Newer cars, unless you remapped it, tune ups just more or less include cleaning things up (injectors, fuel filters, air filters, adjusting valve clearences if needed..which for most new cars would not be needed) or replaing these thigns and items like spark plugs, etc... any of these things would help the car improve fuel efficiency (especially if these thngs were pretty bad). Ideally you would reset your ECU so it relearns itsself but even if you don't things should normalize after driving for sometime.

Can't say since I haven't done it on my car yet. As iRage mentioned it could be the ECU resetting and will come back to normal after driving for a while.

Thank you for your explanation. Is it necessary to always pump 95 petrol or can i use 92 as well?

For the Japanese market the C-HR is rated for REGULAR gasoline. Regular gasoline is between 88 and 95 octane in Japan. About 5-6 years ago, regular was, on average, 92Oct (i.e., what you get most of the time is 92). Nowadays, almost all the major name brands in Japan carry 95Oct as regular (Premium/HighOct is close to 100).

So your car will run just fine on 92 just as it would on 95. The only hitch is in Sri Lanka. Due to poor quality control, there might be quality-related issues that drive you towards one type of fuel over the other.
