Im yet to try the Scratch X varient, but the wax alone gave me stunning results including on a four year old paint . So far 7 cars done including a SUV and a little bit of wax left.

I use the solid-wax.And thats good on any colour, new or old paint.Expert-Velocity will add more to this.

Does the Scratch X remove stains from tree sap as I got a few of those from the blasted tree which does not seem to go off no matter how hard I scrub it with the sponge.

I use turtle wash & wax to wash.

Yes it does remove stains and swirl marks. Just that every pain accumilates some kind of dirt / grit / acid burns ( rain or bird droppings ) tress sap stains etc.

So before you do a polish its much better to do clean up the paint work as much as possible.
