Not sure about who the driver was (a Kasun-somebody to the best of my knowledge) and I remember seeing the car a couple of times at the races. Once was at Kogalla free trading zone back in '02. Ran in the 6-8kg/hp chasing Mamams' vtechs... Maybe someone else can confirm.

The car is Auto :action-smiley-060:

wow.. never knew there was a bb4 in the country- with an H22a.. as far as I know, none of the Preludes we have came with that motor. Surprising that its not been heard of.. auto tch tch what was he thinking.. thanks for the info dude

yeah thats the G6.

Here is a lil trivia about the G6. A buddy of mine working for a tier I supplier to GM said that during the initial production run of the G6 at their facility; the power shutter motors were installed backwards on about 600-700 cars making it impossible to install the glass and have it run up the rails properly. When they notified GM of the problem and asked to shut down the line to fix the problem, GM sent down their own ppl to fix the problem. Instead of fixing the problem, GM wanted to take a pipe and bend each motor arm into the right place. GM was in a real hurry to get more G6 models out in the mkt and apparently cut a few corners. Of course the word got out and many of the component manufacturers refused to honor their warranties for those units.....

then a few weeks later........Oprah gives away a few hundred G6s.... and thats that and u didn't hear it from me

anyway.....here is mine, should be easy...

was it Silver or Dilesh that put up a picture of a Red Prelude BB4 ?

i think i saw that car a couple of hours back in Bamba : 301-1929 was it?

Not sure about the number. But as far as I remember, the car had garage plates when it was at the races...

...story goes that there was one 300SL in the island many many years ago, but it had been picked up by someone in the 80's and taken out of the island! :o

all hearsay though :unsure:
