Hi , :rolleyes:

Some things which we need to discuss on the 4th.

Event date : with this inclement weather ....do we still keep to the planned date?

Prior registration & cash collection: logistics.

Accounts for all to see. Breakdown of the Registration fee

Costs incurred so far by core team.

How do we guarantee a minimum of 35 cars at least?

What do we do about car mart? :angry-smiley-048:

Misc: stickers, sponsors, stalls etc.

Publicity: its the first week of june already, so do we put an ad next week, and who then pays :)

FORD : Any Ford guys reading this, get the mechanics who do Fords to give us some leads, contacts etc. Also we must get the guys with the Mondeos, festvas etc . The racing Ford/ Mazda crowd will come.

Classification ideas : By cubic capacity/ FWD/RWD/ type of car / type of engine .

Gather your thoughts and lets discuss at the meeting.

Yes Pradfred, We should categorize the event :mellow: ,

Suggestions are

1) Engine CC: Up to 1000 CC/ Up to 1300 CC/ Up to 1500 CC/ Up to 2000 CC/ 2000 CC & above

2) Turbo/ Supercharged/ or None

3) Front Wheel Drive/ Rear Wheel Drive/ All wheel Drive

yeah i think the above suggestions seem to be inline.. mind u most of the engines will be normal aspiration.. with the basic mods...

i think the most imporatnat part now will be the publicity and getting the members in because we need to breakeven with the finances....

and of course the breakdown of the Rs:1000/= :rolleyes:

chaminda: can we talk to lalith for the ford guys as well. most of them go there....

Are there any Mazda/Fords over 2l likely to turn up? The only car that comes to mind is a MazdaSpeed6, and I don't think we have them in SL.

over 2l is a little optimistic.. i guess..'

but i agree we need all the rotary boys there... even if they have vannete engines.... :blink:

hmmm there are a few Mazda6's around and there is just that one white Attenza with a factory fitted Mazdaspeed body kit - so essentially it is a 1st gen MazdaSpeed6 with the 2.3L motor, just minus the Turbo

yeah have seen this.. its parked always next to before dinemor.. wonder who can afford a 2.3l mazda6.. hmmmmm...

By the way there are two project level escort two doors with me ........waiting for the lottery to come good :)

Can sell one to a ford lover OOOPs hope it aint an advert. I am not selling but to a Ford guy maybe ......

Maybe Madz can buy one and have it done like overhaulin he he .....
