i have soft spot for Classic Fords and was the sole designated driver of another AL memeber's (Supra Natural) Mk1 1300 Escort GT

i was itching to bring that for the meet

, but it was taken on by another friend, a week or so before the event

The white Rx7 has a lot of history - you might remeber it from its days in Silver and even earlier in a pearlescent Blue/Silver

The Escort i believe is Niroshan's from the CMSC :usnure:

Yes let's meet up and have a chat... Spoke to a kothu Guy yesterday from Nugegoda but looks like that would be an issue due to the distance. need to find some one close by. (Alcatraz Guy ??) Shall try to do that on Friday.

We also need to have some guys to help out as 2 of us will need to be taking pics and video - which I will volunteer

Ahh yess that is a Proton in sheep’s clothing - Evo 3 inside - belongs to a good friend of mine....Still need the socks & springs which should be coming down soon

yes, saw some pictures a while ago of u raising dust on the baddagana road grounds

that was a day to remember!

we drove that all the way from Colombo to Hokandara and then to that field and drove it around for quite some time n mucked about a bit more

Mrs. Robinson as she was fonldy known, didn't so much as skip a beat - 40 years old - but a heap of fun!

Love that 1300 GT to pieces!

its one of the very few Original Mk1 Escort GT's around cuz most cars you see are just 2 door Esocrts which have had thier internals replaced and have had body work done - that car on the other hand is the real deal

Front Disks , 6 pod dash its has it all

The guy who has it now is also a full blown petrol head , so it should make its way for onto the scene once its undergone the restoration

Know that Swap very very well, and yeah it came with Lancer Shocks and a broken Radiator, btw if ur friend wants tell him i have all the pics of that swap from the yard to garage all pics with me

Dude I thought you did your Evo 3 conversion and then sold the car? So did they revert that Evo 3 back to a Lancer to donate the conversion to this Proton or am I missing something here?
