Also on the same lines I think only you can find your own salvation so why don't you spend your valuable time putting your money where your mouth is rather than trying to persuade other people to act in ways that you feel is appropriate ?

I think people have a right to their own indulgences as long as it does not hard others and it is not really up to you or anybody else to judge or make comments of this nature. So just leave it be. Perhaps it you missed the fact that you are in an automotive enthusiasts forum and this is what we do, when we can find the time or the money.

hi machan need to clarify the location u guys talking about Devils stairs @ Bambarakanda ? if its not pls tell me the exact location i loved to join for this 4x4 activities.

couple of my biker friends and i did this run earlier this year... we had a 5 day run and one was through devils staircase...

though we had a decent challenge in not falling off our heavily loaded up bikes...the devils staircase itself wasn't a biggie... the hitch was parts of the roads leading up to devil's staircase from BBK falls and a wrong turn we made on our way to horton plains that took us on like a foot path through tough terrain

good fun it was though... especially getting lost in almost empty tanks

Thats why a tax is paid on petrol, so the govt can do that. Besides, most of these vehicles are diesel so they aren't wasting money on petrol.

Besides, your talking to the wrong person about public service. Velocity was the leading force behind an effort to provide masks for traffic policemen who have to stand in the street choking on fumes all day.

So here's an idea for you. Before you project your own negative attitude for all motoring activities, like you did for the MFOC meet, try to think positively. People have done far more than you know.

we did it in 5 days but i suppose a 4 wheeler might take a tad bit longer...especially the runs we did from haputale to nuwara eliya through bbk falls, horton plains etc and nuwara eliya to weddagala...

the "road" to weddagala at the time was absolutely awful... and we did the run in the night and luckily i had an offroad light in my bike but still finding a safe line in that road at speed, in the dark was quite a challenge...

also on route to NE we had to double back from horton plains cos our plan was to go through the park and enter nuwara eliya on our way from bbk falls but the park was closed since we entered the area after 6pm... finally ended up going back through keppetipola etc to nuwara eliya...

but the whole experience was worth all those pains in the butt...quite literally

infact KLM i want to do at least 10000km on these tires until i do my last free service at Toyota.

What i thought was to use the same alloy with the maximum widest Tyre allowable on this Alloy.

It seems that i am love with this wheels but yesterday everyone at the negambo 4x4 club and also shaun told me that i am not going to get that much of grip on these
