Toyota Owners Club ?

hmmm hard to believe there is no such club for a popular brand such as toyota...well atleast you guys will have no trouble finding members... go for it :)

Clubs are formed by people who are passionate about subjects. By and large toyota's are not bought by people who are passionate about cars. There are exceptions, there are people who use toyotas as a daily driver and have something else for passion, and there are people who buy the more fun models like the Starlet GTs and Supras, but the vast majority of people buy toyotas to be a-to-b, reliable transport, not out of motoring passion. This is why there is no club already. However, starting at a place like AL, you have a decent chance of getting together those folk who are interested in motoring, and not merely a-to-b, so it just might work.

i was thinking more or less the same thing but wasn't able to word it quite so politely so chose not to post...

..a a harsher word than mundane kept poping up every sentence or so

bottom line is that the bulk of Toyotas are used simply as means of transportation and not much aside

Same can be said of certain other mass market manufacturers - but the Nissan enthusiasts kinda got around this by forming the ,now defunct, Nismo Club , borrowing the name from Nissans motorsport division
