well its going to be hard to miss the inauguration even here, its live on CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera , Channel News Asia as well as all the Indian channels like NDTV

any of you heard/read his speech? it hit just the right note IMO, walked the fine line between optimism and realism, and didnt make any huge promises.... I think this guy may well be the politician who delivers on rippers hopes...

hmmm...do you think that he can implement these "changes" with the current status of the world,or will he become a part of the bureaucracy and go with the flow,even if he truly tries to change he will be held back by the system,so i'm not holding my breath for change.specially concerning the war in iraq.

and i believe that it was a mistake to have that rosa parks bus in the parade which symbolised the civil rights struggle,it kinda gave me the impression that this was more a celebration of a black man becoming president rather than a man of change becoming president.

obama does seem like a guy who can stick it to the man,but i sincerly hope that he doesnt become the man

if you look around while in zoom you'll notice some famous faces...i found oprah,the clintons,swarzenegger an someone looking awfully like p diddy.....
