Latest Tyre Prices

Guys,

I have been looking around for 195/65/15 tires and a 15" alloy wheel set for my corolla 121. (Currently having 185/65/14). Did some calling around and got the following prices. Will update prices over the weekend when i check out more places.

For 195/65/15;

1. Dunlop (Japan) - 10,500 per tyre

2. Dunlop (Indonesia) - 8,500 per tyre

3. Pirelli - 10,970

4. Roadstone - 9,500

Also for the above tire size alloy wheel width should be 5.0 - 7.0.

If any of you know prices of any other tyre brand (latest) or a set of 15" alloy wheel set please post..

Roadstone is made in Korea - don't know the other sorry

The N 2000 (Roadstone) are quite good IMHO

I checked for 185/65/14 Bridgestones about a week back

At the agents - 11,000 (Japanese) and 9900 (Indonesian)

Outside - 10,500 (Japanses) and 8,800 (Indonesian)

In addition GT - 7,500 for the same tyre brand

Pirelli made in? Is it Japan?

possibly Brazil...at least the 4x4 / SUV tires (Scorpion) range of tires from Pirelli are/

Amila Tyre works is pushing "Cooper" (an American brand) these days so may offer too value for money , IF they have car tires in the size you need

I put a set of dunlop 195/60/15s to my corolla 121 for 8,800 rs each.. with a nice set of alloys for 36,000 at UH.

They offer 30% upfront discount for tyres .

went last week and got all four replaced on my K11 with free alignment. Saved a little more than 10K.

I don't think u saved that much.. :rolleyes:

They give a 25% discount anyway for tyres. So actually u got only 5% more.

Anyway it's a good deal. Did u get an alignment free of charge?

Original Pirelli is from Turkey, but there are so many countries having sub factory of Pirelli,

any way it is said as an European tyre.

I did not talk about pirelli company , i am talking about the tyre that is what i clearly said it is an European Tyre, Pirelli Mother Company started in Turkey initially( As i know these info becs i have been working for pirelli agent here in sri lanka few years ago) Pirelli Turkey product was the best out of the tyres produced by Pirelli , now i don't know where it is now,now these situation might have changed.Company is in a particular country does not mean the product is from same country.if you can understand !!
