hmmm...maybe geely might do a better job.

intersting story is according our very own milindu who test drove the latest geely to hit the island says that it's not bad at all...and get this,he says geely's the interior is better than his chrysler 300c's :o

But the 300C is not really much of a bench mark though is it? The only interior on an American car worth a second glance is that of the new CTS. Not sure why the 300C became all the range in Colombo but in its domestic market it sells for much less than its equivalent Japanese competition.

Yep, but in SL the 300C is a super luxury car... LOL

I don't think there are many examples of the Jap competition here. The competitors here, Audi, BMW and Merc are all more expensive. Hence, sales.

quite right...but the point is that chrysler being a somewhat established brand how a total crap heap like geely are offering some good interior work...

so bottom line is that the new geely is ok

but with second hand prices around 6 mil,it's a quite cheap "super luxury car"...everythings relative ofcourse :)

Fair enough I guess, and with rear wheel drive and over 200hp a R/T or SRT8 would make for a decent highway blaster. But I'm not sure I would buy one second hand though due to reliability concerns...
