My Mark Ii Engine Wrecked

Hey its like this. When you are due for a cash drain, that will come your way one way or the other. That is life. Here at least you are paying for your own fault. Once when I was sick, my mom got my dad's driver to use my car for her to visit a friend. I was not even aware that someone else was driving my car. He ran the car without looking at the temp guage and completely ruined the engine. I had to replace quite a lot of parts and I was without my car for nearly two weeks. At that time (good 8 years back) I had to spend nearly 30K for the repair. I had to pay and suffer for the fault of some other dick and that is life! So take it easy friend. It happens to all of us. Dont rush. Take sometime, look at a few options and you may findout that it is not that bad. I don't think rebuilding will cost you that much and look around...you may find an engine for a lower price. No one will pay 400K for a used engine. That is rubbish!

I think best thing is wait sometime and look alternative options and deal with them, so I think Best thing is rebuild my own engine, my mechanic guy also advice me that, he said today in this prices he can fully rebuild my engine with in Rs.50,000. So i think best thing is use genuine parts and rebuild because I don't have idea to sell this, i want to keep it because my father gave it to me.. I don't wonna, loose it.. Guys, wish me good luck.. I'll rebuild my Mark ii within few weeks.. I'll give you guys updated about the procedure with video.. So you guys can learn.. I don't want to happen this kind to incident to anyone else..

Life is such and Such is life... and be happy that your engine only over heated.. there are so many other miserable things could happen when you drive a car. break fails and you hit up coming lorry ruined your entire front panel, bonnet, windscreen, your leg is broken, and ribs gone in to your lungs.. you didn't had any of these. So let it go. take few days and look for good options and carry out the work.

That is life bro. shit happens! We had a camry for a while. about 7 years ago one day (Time just flies!), my dad was driving to Colombo on the way from Galle. Somewhere along the way, the radiator sprung a leak. he didnt notice and the engine got totaled! Cost us 116k at that time to repair it! Could have bought a recon for about 80k then. But the job was so well done, I dont think any recon would have matched the redone engine. it was perfect and well worth the spending.

You'll certainly be able to repair your engine for far less than a replacement so I'm telling you, find a good place and have it redone. you wont regret it. but make sure a specialist handles it. if not, you're screwed bro!

Believe or not I drove It kandy to colombo that day, may be water leakage occured in near kadugannawa, when engined stopped near kagalle.. So may be I Drove 20 km without water.. It's a huge mistake and can't forgive it.. I always learn from hard things and cost much more..

Didn't you notice smoke, stream, rattling, AC failure and the temperature stick going up and finally snapping?

Guess not. Sorry for your loss :(
