True what you say! Chilling out is Chilling out!! And the last thing you want is to worry about a Camera worth a a bit of money being stolen, lost or worse, stepped on or broken!

So you never get to get jiggy wit' it with some hot woman at a club?? Since you always end up being the DD? Sad! Sigh.... one day, you should come out with us... you will sure lose your camera, car keys and perhaps.. even your cherry.. :) To hell with DD. :jumping-smiley-013:

You mite loose yourself. lol. It feels soooo good to loose yourself.

Even ma boss says dat he bexomes every time they go out he becomes the DD coz he dosen't drink and he dosen't smoke either. My suggestion was start drinking leave da vehicle at home.

:lol: Oh, I've got to drive around plenty of hot women after clubbing, but thats all that. And I've had plenty of fun my own way.

Bros before hos, but bros will stay in the club till morning so...

Right, I made that post late, hence the obvious mistake. Not ALL of those are my pics, it's a mix. I was doing the "Red Carpet" style stuff at the entrance for most of the night, while my buddy was doing the inside pics. I musta been real sleepy /tired to say my pics for that album! Sun baked brains after the watching the Big Match. Must have meant to say this album includes my pics too or summin. My buddy shoots these club things all the time, he just called me in to shoot second and help him out. So, xXx, his contacts. Jeez, we left there at 5:30 or so, ppl were out jogging when we were going home!

My apologies for misleading anyone! I blame it on the Big Match! :D

Ok Guys,

Finally made up my mind and got this cam Sony W370. A frnd of mine was coming down and ask him to bring it. and I'm pretty happy with the performance. I'm trying to upload some of the pics I took in N'eliya and the latter stage of ma project. but having issues.

Try HitAds. I'm not sure about 370. but I saw a W380 in HitAds for around 32k from some store in pettah. Pretty good deal for an amazing point and shoot. Maybe they have W370 too.

I inquired from siedles and they quoted me W360 4 36k n said they don't have W370. I ordered W370 very next day they put it out on Sony web site. cost me only 26k. now its even more cheaper.

Hey Peri,

Foto link is for an Album in Facebook and seems to be working for me. Believe me When I ordered the cam there were no comments or reviews. Now that I'm owning it don care about the reviews and I'm happy (At least will say so. lol) with it. (sour grapes hehehe)

Try this.. It's really cools. I just got the cam, its the best i ever had. Its worth for 36k with 10x. I got it from MC shop call pyramid or something smiler. just check it out. But they'll said it's 50k but just ask it for 36k. That's the real price. I've got it for 36k. But the same time they've already billed in the cam fro 50k. Anwy, believe me. its dame good camera.

What Dilesh said, or you need to give permission for everyone to view. Probably your permission is set to just "Friends" or "friends of friends".

Personally I have a very high regard for it, and tend to recommend it. I think there is a newer model out tho. SX210 IS. Also consider the SX120 IS

Here's a fun fact: That Nigel Barker guy featured in the video tutorials section of the sony site is of Sri Lankan decent... :grinning-smiley-003:

Yeah, his mom is Sri Lankan. He does some nice stuff. Only reason I watched an episode of "Americas Next Top Model". He's one of the official photogs on it. (Only reason coz the women are largely terrible :) )

That's quite a bit of information bro. Appologies if I mislead U guys with the word "STARTER". Actually what i'm looking for is a multi purpose(Still and Video) Cam. To use it for day today lyfe. May be for trip or an outing. Not exactly for professional level.

I'm bit tite financially since ma vehicle is in da garage going through full restoration process. So $350 bit out of the range. Both models that I have mentioned are abt $199. I wud have pushed this lil back but a frnd of mine is coming down from States so tot of asking him to bring a cam 4 me.

Update: Just saw you already purchased a camera. Do share photos and let us know how it is :)

I agree. Hence the need for a tiny camera that can be handled with one hand and stored in a pocket.

Have you considered the s90? Nice f2.0 lens, larger sensor, and as a bonus, its all black.

The latest A series cam's (e.g. a3000) have good image quality also.

Am not too familiar with his work (other that what I could find via a quick google search) but he has a very impressive client list....
