well...since there are plenty of vehical owners, enthusiasts in this site who also got motorbikes.so my suggestion is can u add a separate section for motorbike related discussions(such as reviews, maintenance issues...etc).that would be a great service for the sri lankan public since we dont have any online discussion panel regarding motorbikes..in india they got several online discussion sites such as mouthshut.com...etc which are very popular..can u do it sir?..

Well. if someone has a question abt a bike they will ask and those who can answer would.. that has been the practive so far.... a separate section might not increase participation or member input (though it might make it easier if u wanna go through old threads etc).. :)

well dilesh u got a fair point..but i seriously think that by having a separate section for the M'bikes there will be a increase in member input. just look at the indian vehical review sites..since we know in sri lanka most people couldnt afford vehicals.hence their choice will be m'bikes(specially age between say 19 to 27,28 might be)..and also look at the current m'bike sale trends..it's booming..so i think it's worth trying..

I also wanted to suggest this sometime back, but as there were only a few bikers in AL it seemed useless.but I see a sudden increase of newbie registrations at AL recently,so a seperate section for bikes might be a good idea.

Master Don.

Sir,

Your post is the most valuable post as we should appoint few Professionals who know about motor Cycles who will voluntarily give free correct advice to new Motor cycle owners and existing motor cycle owners.

AS most Professionals are after Rupees and cents.

Past I was Accused to the forum for quoting My Professional charge of Rupees 15000.00 for a Professional correct job.

Which he did with Elbow geese in one day for few hundred rupees for Which I do with a machine in two to three Hours.

Professionals should not clash each other they will have to be master on one type and they should reply only to that particular manufacturers Motor cycles.

I do not know how many members will agree with me. Mine is only a suggestion.

Few old member of my age will remember present Cargills Supermarket at Staples Street was the BSA Motor Cycle repair service station.

Aiyoo unkel..

We dont care about a motorcycle repair shop that exisited 50 years ago...

A professional by definition is someone who gets paid for their services in the respective field. As to if they want to give thier charges for free is upto them. Its not like professional's are social workers.

And how much a professional charges for his services is upto him to decide, and its upto the client to decide if its wortht he money spent. If not go elsewhere.

What the person said was that he felt it was useless to pay Rs.15000 for a job he could do for Rs.200 himself and get the same result. So get over it, let it go.. You're the fool who keeps bringing up ur 'service', when everyone else has jsut forgiven and forgotten.

WHAAAAT!!!!

You charged Rs 15,000 just because you have a machine that can get a job done faster by a few miserable hours ??????

And you have the temerity to call it a "professional job" just because you happen to use some gadget????

My God that's preposterous! Absolutely criminal!!!!

My dear sir, you should be hanged!
