Dyno Launch

Hi All,

The 1st all wheel drive dyno will be launched on the 30th of October at 3pm.

The tuner of the fastest Subaru in europe and the regional head of the Japanese performance workshop tomei will be present for advice on tuning.

Pls feel free to drop in and see the dyno in action

Yes Dono is up final finishing touch up work on the building going on there I was informed at 2.00 PM Saturday 30th few foreign Engineers will be at BRJW Service center to Grace the occasion.

Congratulation's and good wishes for the Proprietor(BW) for his initiation on this project.

Ok, now you're gonna get flooded with cars.... suggest you get a traffic cop on duty there and reserve the left lane for parking. A queuing system might be an option too..

He he Machang my car is definietly not the fastest car in SL so its defo not my car.

Good that we got this cleared otherwise it will set off a nice debate.

Would like to have the autolanka guys around as well

Hey Darin which Subaru is the fastest Subaru in Europe just for our info? Also who is the tuning company that manages it?? Just For our info.....also to everybody here.....BHP...HP.....or WHP is not a clear indication at all of how fast a car is.....It is only an indication of how powerful the car is....Many factors play in determining if a a car is fast or slow. Not just the amount of power it makes.....that's just FYI....

Hi - 02 cars were put on the Dyno -- 01st did 560+ BHP & 720+ torque [obviously this is the fastest car in S. L.]

02nd aprox 150 BHP [Honda]

[Wont mention the names of owner's -to protect their privacy - let them or Darin name the cars/owners]

The BHP seems to match the GTR, but I don't think it does that kinda torque. Curious. Something that doesn't normally hit the roads?

yeahh, i reackon its the GTR too... No offence, when you buy a car as high profile as the GTR i dont think privacy is an option for the owner anyway, I remember the name was mentioned once o the thread before.

Thats a lot of torque...for any car and in standard guise the GT-R only puts out around 500 and 500 respectively. If it IS the GT-R that's pumping out those numbers I wonder what the engine-exhaust config is and what the suspension and brake modifications are to support that kind of power...

Well the only production car that I've found that I know is in the country putting out 500+bhp and 700+Nm is the CTS-V. Unless there is a Brabus Bi-Turbo or something around.

Its gotta have a big, big engine to hit that torque number. Eliminated the Camaro, GT500, DB9. What else is around with a big engine?

The gtr producing that much torque in stock form?? I dont think so....the Torque conversion calculator constants are off.....you do realize the numbers that you get off a dyno can be altered....Its a simple matter of changing a few numbers....As far as I've seen in most Jap videos and spec sheets it is 434 lb·ft (588 N·m) at 3200-5200 rpm maybe I am remembering wrong....I usually am not too good with stats...

Agreed with you & watchman -re privacy,---but there were other cars - which in my estimation wd hv easily slotted into the top 5 -- but they -the owners didn't seem too keen to put on the dyno. So was wondering to my self whether some owners were not keen to portray their car BHP [they wdn't hv done so for different reasons]But dont want to tread on anyone's toes by publishing 'personal' data. -Once they do so, hopefully Darin will give us all the details.
