yeh, doesnt look reallly nice.. but must say, its very very HARD to find alloys for Carinas/Subaru models. finally got these, and new 195/65/14 (4) tyres, japan.

hey, i was checking alloys past week for the carina, well i found many places but it was very hard to find gud ones with 5 boltz which fits to carina model, check amila as gihan said, he had kwel models with him. do u know the duplication road shop? they directed me to their stores and gave me a person from ther shop to find out a gud alloy, (since i went to colombo, duplication, piliyandala all 3 places - they were kind enough to send me to stores) i found a alloy set which was FINE. well ther was SOO nice 4 boltz sets (many). prices - amila sells 14inch @ 23/- brand new. above mentioend ppl want 26/- amila had nice sets unfortunately not for my car. check @ his place so. i will be putting the alloys and 195,65,14 Dunlop - Japan 4 tyres, costing me 54/- discounted.. next saturday probably, 'cos yesterday they had only 2 tyres -->

qud topic.. i too had many questions in regard. talked with a senior engineer at Jinasena whom is responsible in maintainace of 150 odd vechicles including cars,vans,lorries,trucks, well ther are using Castrol and change by 10,000 milage. he said it could be used around till 15K as well. but they do change by 10K. ya. he recommended Mobil as well.. either Mobil or Castrol to be used. of course yes to Helix for those who can afford.. Waruna,Cheena,Sacha,etc - why no reply? we need ur help here..

of course NO! 1.5l pulls enough, and will be really good on fuel. our carina does about 11 - 12 city and on long trips about 14. and the allion must be doing more on fuel for sure, dont think it will be a prob cos the engine is 1.5l. no! not at all..

Make: Toyota Ceres [ECT-S] (1600 CC) Model:AE - 101 Year: 1993 Price:870,000/- well i bought it she was in perfect condition. privious owner (first) was a 20 year guy and he had gone to switerland for studies, so his mom only used it, and she had used it very carefully with love as for a first car, very gud in pickup, had power/man buttons which i used think as if mine was the only car with that option later i realized dat its NOT! well... just used pass the pink cars with stickers very fast in zig zag manner, once ther was this golf GT and i thought lets try, and guy who drove it was a gud driver i guess.. heh.. shame dat was! loved dat car missed dat car. da person who bought it still brings da car to my place, he'v got crashed da front, da back, sides etc. twice this happend now.. he wanted to know wher to get the parts and how to get it repaired bad to see dats shes unhappy with da new guy!!!!! she gave me almost 300,000/- profit.. which and where ma parents rite 'away spend 16 1/2 and got me dis CARINA.. but i wanted a GT. too bad ther were none at dat time. carina is not fully done up yet.. expensive for me, since i have to mange with ma savings, hopefully not after this year. ha!

well before the price increase my gud friend bought a shortwheel turbo intercooler fulloption and he only paid 7.75 for that 32 - XXXX but now he says he can easily sell around for 12 - 14, well the actual price lies around 12 - 13.50 - 14 depending on the condition. my friends one looks lik DAMM, not like the stupid looking one advertised in here.. i mean look at the tyres?? anyways the next model pajero intecooler 64 - / 65 - goes around 25 - 30 i guess. not sure about dat. they are reliable still after all those years.. u just mite need to replace the engine - hehe, my gud friend once drunk have had a trip without checking water level and the engine was gone, 3 - days he replaced a new turbo intercooler engine for 110,000 around 5 months back.
