It would be a crime to drive one of those on our roads….. just like the Austin Martin (Sorry I 'm a bit soft when it comes to cars - feel sorry for them in a way ) But Agree with Dev. Since the (unit) is well covered U tend to have a slight advantage. Leaving all aside the trill of taking a Conner is worth it.

Just a wee bit I would say- I own a 323 and I've gone in a M3/Axcela sitting at the back and it was quite spacious ( Much more than the Nissan’s -No offence to Nissan's) specially as the person in front was average height (5.10) as well and I'm quite tall so it is a big issue for me if I'm sitting at the back seat. The Dash looks stunning – a total revamp by Mazda Hoping I can own a M3/Axcela soon.... that all depends on the year end increment Cheers

HI Is that a 1.3 / 1.5 or a 1.6 ? If it's 1.3 then that's too much in my opinion. Try to get a good evaluation done if permitted. I always recommend the guy near papiliyana - Maz&a motors. Basically they say that the ford market is less compared to mazda but it' a load of crap. Both have the same engine and almost same interior - just the body shape is the difference. I kind of like the Ford design over the Mazda though. What’s the mileage ? Check and see if the timing belts are replace (With proper proof) caus it cost abt Rs.15,000 to replace. Is it Auto or Manu ? If it’s auto then again too much Overall it’s a great car and fun to drive All the best

Mini Haynes Manual And Workshop Manual
mazdaspeed replied to Sanjaya Ratnaweera's topic in User Manuals & Service Manuals
hii Thanks a lot for the site - sound some intresting stuff -
Hi YES Mazda does not have a market like Toyota or Nissan but I can assure you that it does not mean that the car is bad in any way. In fact it has more character than the average Nissan or Toyota ( No offence to any one ) Coming to the topic – U are referring to the so called butterfly model. A good condition 1.3CC sedan would go in the price range of Rs. 900 to 1.1 Mil if it’s the Interplay X then your looking at about 1.2 mil max. Petrol would come close to the 10 Km/per L range but definitely not to the range the Toyotas are doing. Good luck on your hunt- feel free to drop me a mail if you want some further advise [email protected] ( Mods hope this is OK if not my bad and pls remove the same )

YES I totally agree.. it's very annoying to see them pass by and join in the queue in front.... I mean we (the guys in the queue) are not having a gala time either - we too want to go our destinations soon.... Pleas A/L members try to avoid doing this if any you U guys are doing this. I see a lot of small car drivers doing this on the increase.... just because u got a small car does not mean u have the right to act as a moron. Headlights : Please try not to use the headlight (In nicely lilted streets) and when some one flashes pls DO dim the light. If you on Dim just do a flash to indicate that you got lights that beats the crap of the other parties eyes - ( U may have HD or some sort of gizmo)

Self Tunning Or Ecu Resetting?doing Magcitystuff@home
mazdaspeed replied to chinth_guy's topic in General Automotive
Very true Pericles ..... 1. DO NOT GO TO MAGCITY- I was saved thanks to the good members in this forum. 2. Not too keen on the agents but I prefer to go to DPMC ( although they are now reluctant to take in mazda's) 3. I'm not too sure on the tuning as in removing the battery - but from what I know by plugging the car to the system it would tell you exactly wats wrong eg. plugs, filter and in some cases the oxygen sensor.. hence the removing of the battery and starting may not necessarily work. Drop in at DPMC and speak to the service manager ( with a desperate kind of tone and they would assist ) Costs depends on the parts and wheat they have to do. All the best -
Well yesterdays paper had the Bafoon (MR) taking about the budget with artists (film stars – Jo was on the pic) No offence to the artist… but seriously…. Would they know a dam thing about the budget ? So u can just imagine what’s going to happen next year…..

Guys… I too am not much of a Nissan fan - unless it’s a Primera or a Skyline….. These are things that happen… irrespective of a Toyota Nissan – sure some cars have less trouble other a bit more…… Just like people…. Some fall ill frequently other less frequently… Check the alternator… get it fixed… and start running….. and life goes on ….

Same issue with a college’s march. Her car just did’nt move more than 10M. The issue is with the alternator in most cases – U can use jumper cables and it would start but moving it is a problem. Final conclusion – after towing it with the greatest difficulty of that as we…. Both cars mine & hers having hazard lights on and all u still get the blooming 3 wheelers & bike buggers trying to go between the 2 card while it’s been towed with the tow cable Recommend U get the alternator checked… if your battery is new then it’s deffa the alternator.. All the best

Yes agree. As they say seeing is believing The our gov are know for having several projects been started with the “mul gala” and stuff like than been erected all over SL with out any results
-
No such thing - No networks lock the phones like most other countries since the network does not give the phone FOC like other countries. Working for a telco (not in the cellular division) there is a tax that the govt charges on the bill but other than that it's standard. Bringing a phone would be cheaper naturally. If your on roaming better check with your provider and confirm the rates. Cheers

Hi Fuzzo, My mothers car has another issue besides the cracked glass- It’s a power retractable mirror but now it does not work. U can tilt it L to R & Up to down but cant fold them in. Can those guys fix that as well. Else is there any other joint u would know of who can take a look. Thanks in advance

good news... really hope this works out and have a proper system in place

I’ve never used this auto car wash contraptions – I just don’t like the idea of some wheels with bristles rubbing against my car. A good old manual system is the best – I got a small pressure washer (domestic 1) which has a decent power (don’t have a overhead tank at home so the pressure is quite low) with a bucket and wash/wax liquid with a sponge. Only if I’m feeling really lazy or tired I take it to a car wash ( manual) . I’ve instructed them to clean near the door hinges (Front doors) as u tend to get stuff stuck inside as well as the plastic trims I got on the hood – u get bits of dirt flying off when u use a good pressure washer.

Yes very true- Ripper I do agree we should have this implemented in SL. By all mean we dearly need it.. I was driving home last night and the lorry in front was pumping so much of black smoke I didn’t see the huge pothole which naturally I fell in - dam that was painful for me and my car. So YES we do need it. With out conditions /exceptions Most car drives would take care of their vehicles including emissions- it's the lorry's , and Buses both private & CTB which are the main culprits But I agree with you - we need to start off some where at some time
