Thats calkled finding a chart to help better answer my question. Unlike yourself my knowledge of cars doesn't center around google.

So how was the weekly hybrid-fan-boys circle jerk?

Listen.I never questioned your knowledge of cars did I? You might have a Phd in automotives. i'm just a layman here trying to expand my knowledge. But It's your attitude that is bloody irritating. Everyone here knows that. There are lot of dignified members here who knows how to correct someone's mistake without the mud slinging. Well I guess you will never learn from them because of your big ego. Can't really blame your parents either. It's just bad genes I guess.

btw when did you learn circle jerking. at auto school?

Hybrid fan boys are an excitable lot.... they get excited over the smallest things that they think will affect the fuel figures.

Rotational speed of the earth, ambient temperatures, humidity, height from sea level, J-Lo's menstrual cycle, pollution levels, green house gas levels, body weight, etc... :)

All just to save a few bucks on petrol... the misers... :)

The intelligence and class of the new Hybrid owners... :) All considerations out of the window to save a few buck on petrol... :)

That's becasue you don't drive a hybrid... if you did you would be intelligent enough to know everything... ;)

Hey you idiots with your gas guzzling V6s have no idea how much these smart hybrid owners get discriminated. Each day they fight for their very survival and fight to save the environment. Do you know how much damage your crappy old alfa is doing to the planet? do you? do you? I don't think you would since you are not intelligent enough to own a toyota prius hybrid. Oh yeah and only toyota prius owners are intelligent. $#%@ those other hybrid owners.

I guess buying a prius made you a genetic scientist now, since you know so much about my genes. BTW I'm surprised that you don't know what a circle jerk means since you and your other hybrid buddies do it every week.

You are forgetting my gas guzzling straight 6... :) Which is a scrap heap too... :jumping-smiley-013: Mokadda bang... :)

Poor Charitha with his TT Boxer is clueless too... :)

We are all clueless compared to the Hybrid whiz kids who suddenly grew hor... I mean brains since the tax came down on the Hybrids... if not for the Tax cut, they would not have touched them Hybrids with a bargepole... ;)

No machang i won't do it, as i'm not belong to that category..I don't think that i have become intelligent just because i bought a prius :P and i'm not proud about my choice either. It's just for long journeys and that's all what i'm concerned with. BTW i don't like to wear hats :D :D :D :D coz i don't want to be a cow or buffalo boy :D

Dude when we are bashing hybrid owners you should just ignore it. You and a couple of others here do not belong to the stereotypical hybrid owners group, therefore we have nothing against you and non of our attacks are pointed at you. :)

Well, I always argued that the Hybrids are ideal for people who drive long distances on a daily basis. IN that way, I guess you bought it for the right reasons.

I drive in excess of 1000Kms a week and still would not buy a Hybrid for the simple reason that life is too short to worry about mundane things like KMPLs... :)

besides I want my cars to sound like a car and not like a wheezing Budu Ras motor at Vesak...

And I won't use it for long time as i will be at a risk of it's battery..the day i'm financially fit enough to go for a diesel SUV..that's the end of my hybrid love..it's just a temporary solution for me..for me it's just ridiculous work to make others convince for hybrids..my friends used to ask from me a lot about the car and have test drives on my car..but i'm not saying them to buy it just because i bought it..coz their needs can be different than my needs..

I wouldn't worry about a battery, if you are using it for long distances teen the battery will stay healthy as you will be using it for its intended purpose, and it goes through the proper cycles of recharging/discharging without too much strain on it.
