Sorry mate, ma' bad it's 1993. was having trouble with my little daughter while typing, didn't notice that before posting.

BTW I have seen couple of 2010-2011 registered vehicles which are older models. any idea on that ? are they imported (quite impossible I think) or products of BOI project local assemblies??

Model: 3rd gen 2010 Prius

Transmission Type : Auto

Fuel Economy :

City driving --- 20-24 km/l

Out stations -- 23-27km/l

Best trip fuel economy so far (using hypermiling driving techniques): 35 km/l :smilie_liebe9:

????????? but on another thread this is what cali has said about a 3rd Gen Prius fuel economy....

"Also your expectation of 26-30 km/l seems unrealistically high. Normal Prius fuel economy averages around the 19-23 km/l range"

face lift???? is this japanes model name???

Terra, Does eCVT differ from CVT used in normal gasoline cars?

Yes. eCVT is just the name given to the Toyota HSD. There isn't a gearbox, just a motor coupled to the wheels which may or may not be driven by the engine. It is the quintessential variable transmission.

There isnt a separate gearbox. but if I'm not wrong there is some sort of transmission built inside the hybrid motor

and it needs transmission oil change too right?
