My father had a CG 125 bike in 80's which could run without the battery and then had a CD 125 Benly which even couldn't started if the batt is low.

Was that because of same 'magnetos' concept or sth else?

I think those Motor cycles had the Ignition coil inside the fly wheel, they did not have a magneto. Because fly wheel consisted of permanent Magnets when you kick start the engine starts without the battery. The Ignition coil primary coil get energised without battery voltage, due to the rotation of the flywheel.

Guys, This topic was starter is gone now...He just joined AL to complaint against local agents for Honda..just a single post and he is vanished.Not even logged to enjoy the p***y fights. This could be a real story or maybe a fabricated one against Stafford, you all decide.

Then what happened..many wanted to show off the knowledge than effectively contributing then the fight then came the clubbing part and the lunar eclipse..sadly im also dragged in and I dont feel good at all.Lets go back and see why we went so OT and whos started that.I dont feel good and im sure most of you fell the same way I feel..Good for fun but absolutely bad for the forum.

I am a automobile worker some members do not respect the forum members if it is a international forum those members are throwen out from the forum for abusing that is the reason I do not empty my in box for future evidence,

The forum moderator can do empty my in box, but I have print outs of abuse, to me by a two members so called Watchmem a Jdenet.

I am not a fool like what they think. I too can do lot of things by law for abusing me on this forum.

Once they abused a ward place scandel who was a repectable importer of Automobiles, he wanted to take legal action but I prevented from doing that.

Topic starter may have not posted any postes because it isnot relavent to the tropic. The Members who are against me to post posts to abuse me.

It is left for honorary members to deside who is correct.

I don't regret in my life. I have come to the tail end of my life. There is a limit to tolerate of abusiveness to me.

We should have strict administrators on this forum insted of favouritism.

You want some advice, consider this. Don't ever go into a community and expect people to do what you want because you have some misplaced sense of entitlement. YOU have come into OUR community. I have said I started life with 30.00 rupees a month wirking for my late fatehers work shop. Lot people foget their past.

Guys...... at the end of it all there is one common bond, which is our love for automobiles. This is the reason all of us are here.

Sylvi obviously has a lot more experience ( knowledge to some extent) than most of us in our 20's and 30.s , so lets respect that. Lets appreciate the fact that there is a guy in this forum that has seen the transformation of Ceylon's automobile industry from bullock carts to express ways.

But Sylvi also needs to understand that the information provided is RELEVANT, also more importantly you cannot just insult people, like calling some members shanty people.

I was so angry about their posts towards me I use that language which I regret now.

With no fault of mine. May be I have written automobile history which no younger generation is interested.

I like to stop any more posts on to above thread this is not relevant to the topic it turned in to battle of few members.

I posted this also due to your post because you had given a clear picture of what you see on the posts.

I admit about of your last sentence. Which was too bad for early said members to address them in that manner by me.
