Buying A New Car For Around 14Lakhs

I used a 1991 Toyota Camry and using a Toyota CR27 for a change... Since I am not feeling good with vans, I want to quit with it & go for a car once again. But this time I am looking for a small car with auto transmission.

Below are few options I found after doing a search on web sites, papers and I am confused with making a decision. Please help me out with selecting the best out of these cars.

1) Perodua Kenari

2) Perodua Kelisa

3) Nissan March K11

4) Corolla AE100 Wagon

5) Starlet EP91

6) Lancer CK1 OR CK2

Experts, please give me advise on the best among these OR any other model that would be better than these. Eagerly waiting for your feedback...

Then you have given list of cars.

I don't think you can buy a new car for the amount that you had mentioned according to your topic.

New car for that cost is NANO.Which are used by most taxi companies.

This really is a no-brainer. Get yourself a Kelisa.

There are few of them in the classifieds, including a J-Series one for 12/60. But it seems like a Manual.

i am not going to suggest a make and model for u. but ........

among these options if you are going to select a lancer or AE100, dont get a 1.3 (CK1 is 1.3 and most of AE101 are 1.3, but in clasified they will be named as AE100)

I would say the Corolla wagon; parts galore, plus you can cart around the whole family and their baggage.

No Panda I think the choices have narrowed down to the starlet, Kelisa or VIVA Elite.

I dont think you will be able to get a viva elite for 1.4m. Your best bet would be a kelisa.

If you look around maybe you could also get a AD Wagon or a Pulsar SRV onto your list. Only saying as you had a Corolla Wagon on your probables.

They are to convey an idea.... in the Clarkson way. Yes it looks over the top but there's a message underneath. For a man looking for a car go take him from point a to point b any car would be fine. But for others there's more than that in car...

i would also recomend the Kelisa, it seriously is a nice small car.

our member Cyrax used to own one. hope he comments here...

and just mind in British standards the Kelisa is hopeless.. but this is not UK.

the Kelisa is Fuel Efficent, its over 2000, u can find auto, it is smaller..

or the other alternative i would suggest is the Standard Viva.. (not the Elite)

it will fulfill all your requirements as well
