It is a good project and I really appreciate it 100%.

It would be really nice if you could keep it in original condition as much as possible.

And finally please do not post your own video as someone else's video.

This is your own project not anyone else's project!

Please try to help the other members; but do not post your own project as someone else's project

Not sure, but I believe the accusations are based on the fact that the OP states a modified starlet as his ride in his profile, while the owner of the youtube video above has uploaded a video of a suspiciously similar starlet.

ok.. i am little upest about the comments. not a very good experience though.. i would like to share some info with you guys.. i ve been reading these forums for the past 5 years bt. honestly i am yet to find good information about anything through forums. I was looking for a classic ford for sometime and advertised my requriement in Sunday newspapers several times. that was my ford hunting.. i was lookin for a Cortina MkIII bt many bargins were in crap condition.

There are tonnes of great info on these pages. And it's shocking to hear that even after 5 years you haven't noticed it.

for example.. search... ford capri / cortina or even glanza in this forums.. and the information that you will find. i would say.. outdated or not comprehensive enough..

however i would rather appreciate if you guys could give your honest opinion on selecting a cortina to restore as a speed muscle..

Your posts just make it very clear that you have no idea how to use the search function and also that you have definitely NOT been around for the "last 5 years".

Right now there is a thread active about cortinas and restoring them, plenty of classic restoration threads have been on this forum, just recently MasterDon started one on his TR2 project. So clearly you DON'T know..... you know?

One should understand restoring/ proper modification is not only doing exterior ok;

Capri with Mitsubishi 4DR5 engine, LED tail lights!!!! lol

Starlet ep91 reflect with glanza badge in the front grill, black colored head lamps, fake bonnet grill, repainted from blue to yellow is NOT GLANZA, I just feel it is like a three wheeler with a 4WD badge!!!!

If you are thinking to do proper glanza conversion I should first do engine and gearbox swap to a ordinary starlet.

At best you could have kept your original starlet reflect as it is rather than messing it up.

But I agree it is your car and it is your money my dear friend, better go and find some three wheeler forum (Though I have no intension to depress any three wheeler owner)!

One should first of all learn that a bloody 4d56 engine belongs in pajeros and the like and has no business being in a Capri!

Seriously, that car was in better shape BEFORE your "restoration"..... What a criminal waste of a decent Capri!
