According to Latest news paper reports that new RRSs and BMWs are not cumming for the end of this year event.

The Ministry of Finance has opened Letters of Credit (LCs) through the Bank of Ceylon to import 55 Mercedes Benz vehicles of the latest S400 model to Sri Lanka for the use by VVIPs attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka in November, Ceylon Today reliably learns.

But what ever comes about, whether its Rolls Royce's Beemers or Merc's these invitees are going to be 'cumming' in; the bill for all these high-jinks have to be paid by someone and it certainly isn't the VVIP's, their lackeys or the invitees that are going to be footing the tab.

What I'm interested to know is: How are the many costs associated with all this ego bolstering, going to be explained to the public?

It is very simple to any governing government to cover up thing. If you see one week ago colossal amount of money was spend for victory day.

Do we need to calibrate all this with several reseals and closing roads creating unwanted traffic jams in the city.
