Toyota Prius 20 Break Pads

I wanted to change my break pads. I have checked prices. Those are differ from 4000 to 18000. Please share your experience with these break pads.

Dude dixcel pads are 27,000 for a pair. If you have the money there's no end to what you can buy

I think so, hybrids have a different brake system and they cant be repaired normal mecahnics

Break pads from toyota cost around 17500/=. I do not want to waste money if other break pads are doing good. Any more thoughts?

Are you sure on that bro?

I would think the harnessing of kinetic energy would be done at the diff or at the same point that the electric motor powers the car. The brake pads are needed only for heavy braking (like any other car).

Watchman is correct, brake pads can be replaced like in any other modern vehicle, it is advisable that you get the ABS system re-calibrated afterwards to ensure optimal braking performance.

Yes thats true, but hybrids also have a regenerative breaking system

Given the fact that it has a different braking system from a normal car, if i had a hybrid i would take it to an hybrid maintenance place to get it changed

I recommend FBL brake pads,If you use FBK it would damage the disk
