Watchman
It's also shown that MR's presence at a match being a bad omen isnt just an urban legend.

Rumesh88
After a long time we see each player sticking to their exact role in the team plan. Bowlers doing their job with the last four overs which made all the difference in Indian batting. Thisara Perera's little cameo relieving pressure from Sanga. What a match! I must say though Indian's played like they did not have any plan at all. May be they've become so complacent with a string of wins they did not know what to do when it came to losing. Congrats to the team!

BlackorWhite
Everybody is pin pointing on Yuvraj's bad batting being the reason for India's loss... But more than that our brilliant bowling at the death made the real difference....it's true that Yuvraj is not in good touch with the bat but even Kohli and Dhoni failed to find the boundaries in the last few overs.... So for Yuvraj our bowlers are just too good..... Superb win and a great team effort by Sri Lanka.....!!!!
H.C
what a spell of death bowling which to an extent humiliated the so called greatest batting unit!.

Watchman
The players' return would probably be nothing short of 2009's post war celebrations. Edited April 7, 2014 by Watchman

Congrats to the team! To give some credit to Dhoni, he did try, and for a little while the planned seemed to be working..... until Thisara Perera arrived and got stuck in after the first couple of balls which even he had to defend to. Thankfully he did not have the crisis of confidence Yuvraj seemed to have, but to be fair the bowling was pretty tight at that point. Commentators point Kohli only faced 8 balls but they seem to forget he only made 7 runs out of that 8. And people also seem to forget Yuvraj is a guy who had scored 6 sixes in a match and on many an occasion their saviour and match winner. What an ungrateful idiot the guy must be who stoned his house, and this to a guy who beat cancer and fought back into the team.
Schiffer
Nice to hear this, a friend of mine in bangladesh told me that her uni (AIUB) today celebrated the victory of Sri lanka and everyone there was supporting sri lanka coz like us, they hate the indian Cricket team specially Mr.Kholi kuttu.. also in some cities in india they have gone rallys blamming yuvaraj and doni.. words cant summon the stupidity they posses. one day when kholi gets out of form, they might even kill him.
asrock
Congratulations to our heroes for finally breaking the jinx and winning a world cup after 18 long years!! Also want to note that Bangladeshi cricket board or whoever was involved, had done a good job with preparing the few grounds they have for the world cup. They even had those giant digital scoreboards installed. I haven’t seen a single digital scoreboard in srilankan cricket grounds. They still use those old fashioned manual scoreboards. They should at least install a single digital scoreboard on at least one main international stadium and maintain the grounds up to a international standard.
