killercruise
Hello, I want to know whether the honda vezel original reverse camera displays guide lines? Thanks .
Komisiripala
Oh it's very easy: Here's the reverse guidelines: 1. Put car into reverse gear 2. Look behind you 3. Slowly give gas. Print this out and stick it on the inner surface of your rear glass. Edited September 17, 2014 by Komisiripala
VVTi
Guidelines will be in the book... just follow them. Its easy. Even Henry Caldera driving a Vezel with Stevie Wonder riding shotgun can reverse it.
Magnum
As far as I know all JDM vehicle's reverse camera shows guidelines but these most car salers bring down vehicles without DVD player/reverse camera and fix them here
AbeysinghE
I know for sure, many Honda Vezels come to Sri Lanka without DVD payer and reverse cam..It's all been fixed locally...why so worry about guide lines?...

MadMMX
Actually most of the vezels come with the factory fitted reverse camera. Its a bit of a different setup (4 wire) but most of the audio shops know how to hack it and connect it. (Need to add the video connector + hotwire the power circuit to the reverse light). Those have the lines with distance marked but it wont show you where the car will go depending on the steering wheel position on another red line. After market shows just the distance, the original one has two sensors in the front tyres so it will show where the car will turn to when its steered.

Im not used to watching the r. cam when revercing so it doesn't matter. The mirrors are just fine.
iRage
The Vezel much like all other cars come out of the factory with just a big hole covered by a plastic piece but most new cars come with the harness already in place for the cams, sensors, etc...The camera and the actual head unit are dealer options (in most cases) and the buyer has the option of selecting from several models, some with guidelines, some with just distance lines, etc...different quality cameras etc...If you wish you can get the Vezel or any other car for that matter without any of it and just the plastic cover I think most car imprters in SL go with this option as it is cheaper. So do all Vezel reverse cam setups come with guidelines...I dunno...maybe...depends on what options Honda provides I guess. Toyota and Nissan have units without guidelines which are usually the cheaper option.

In original JDM units generally navigation does not work/ TV different system/ Radio only up to 90 Mhz / Sometimes clock cannot be adjusted and instructions are in Japanese. Sometimes only thing that works is DVD/CD and the reverse camera and of cause half radio. Generally these top end units cost more when factory fitted. Best is to get the vehicle here and fix a good quality setup, depending on once budget sky is the limit. From Chinese crap with all the bells and whistles to a good brand most probably with better sound than the original.
