If it is a serious post then I think he is out of luck. Although he m8ght be able to find a slightly used Wagon R Hybrid that might barely fit that budget and try to cut off some middlemen out

A while back there were Nissan Leaves for that price but it seems prices have gone up.

only option is the Wagon R Hybrid if you can live with the tiny engine .

You can get one for around 26.5 methinks.

FYI Fuel economy won't be 'magical'.

Other than that the closest you can get I think is a 2012 GP1 for around 2.9 or a 2012 L Grade Aqua for 3 mil. (saw an unreg L grade advertised for 3 mill today)

2010 Honda fit GE6 (non-hybrid) also can be bought for that price but it does not fit your 2012 onwards criteria.

Sadly enough - you can't buy a non-hybrid 2012 + car for a reasonable price now. I think this is the reason many people go for hybrids even if the ones that are not concerned about Fuel economy. Very soon it will not be a choice and all of us will be driving

cars with a technology that has not been perfected yet.

You have only one option. The Wagon R hybrid. If you negotiate, you might be able to get one for 2.5M. I saw a few on Auto Lanka classifieds just above this price.

The new Perouda Axia should be a good option as well around the same price bracket.

Yes, there are chances you can find Nissan Leaf S grade with decent mileage and YOM 2013-2014 within 2.5 mil - 2.6 mil range. I have seen another good deal recently with 2014 X grade below 10K kms for 2.6 mil.
