An OBD scan could be helpful.

An OBD scan could be helpful.

Its worth a try, but it probably won't help much 'tiv' as a regular run of the mill OBD scanner will just re-confirm that there is an airbag code / that the airbag system is malfunctioning. Usually it won't even tell you which airbag system is causing the malfunction but will just throw out a generic fault code.

As much as I hate to say it, this is one instance where I'd suggest a visit to the agent / dealer as they'd be able to run their diagnostic tool / more sophisticated scanner on it which would indicate exactly what is going on and which airbag or sensor needs to be replaced.

Plus as the airbag system is a key safety component that can actually cause a lot of harm if it malfunctions: Generally the agents are the only garage I'd entrust this service / repair with.

Hmm.. as far as i know, Generic OBD tools doesn't work on ABS Diagnostics right? (Correct me if I'm wrong) only a Agents or Suzuki based scanner would pick this up.

Could be the spiral ribbon of the driver side SRS if the alarm comes from that side. You need to get the system scanned to determine which SRS is giving the alarm!

It might be sensor on driver seat mafunctioning. Find the wires coming down from seat see if socket is loose. Its a simple switch system where the weight makes two contacts touche. If you spilled water on seat this also happnes.

Today my car scanned from Au*o M*raj and foud that fault in driver side seat belt :(. I don't know how it happened. Today Morning I noticed that the car hron doesn't work (Yesterday I did underwash). Au*o M*raj suspected that the ribbon of the steering wheel damaged and they removed the steering wheel to find out.Now car horn doesn't work at all. They said I have replace both and it will cost around Rs 28k.

Is that true?

Unfortunately I couldn't find driver side seat belt and ribbon from spare part shop.Do you know any shop to buy them (I checked it with A*W but they don't have it. To get them will take 3 weeks.I can't drive 3 weeks without horn :( )

It is highly unlikely that both your seat belt buckle (latch) and steering ribbon cable to fail at the same time. Since your horn is also not working now it is most likely that the fault is in the ribbon cable.

Today I replaced the steering wheel from AM*. Since they don't have b/n one I went to Delkada and bought one from there. There were same item in several places.

Ja*pan La*ka said it would cost Rs 12,500 (B/n price Rs 17000.00) Ni*on La*ka Rs 6500 but it was looks very old and dirty. Sha* Mo*ors Rs 6000 and it looks new. If anyone want contact no, please PM me.

Most importantly this very common problem. If Airbag indicator stays ON, then better you check the ribbon in steering wheel.
