All true. But let’s not forget the humongous ‘public’ service. We don’t see them and all these vruthiya samithees clamoring for the politicians to implement reasonable reforms to the outdated public transport systems. Audi is quoting 7.9 Million for the next week shipment of Q2, they promised on a discount too.

 

They mentioned the price of A4 is also going doen but couldnt give me a price as they have not yet decided.

Tax base changed from value to engine capacity

New  tax system is based on CC (example - 1500cc X 3250)

Old one was a percentage of the value of the vehicle (examples 150% of cif )

Under the new one there can be 2 vehicles with totally different values but if they fall under the same tax category both of them will be taxed the same amount. Therefore there is an advantage for more expensive yet smaller displacement vehicles.
