It would be much easier to just sell your car and buy an automatic if convenience is what you are after IMO. 

Although you might be able to source an automatic transmission easily, it might be difficult to source the gauge cluster, centre console and automatic transmission specific ECU, which are necessary components to get things to work. This of course depends on the age of the car.
