Davy
On cars where this can be turned off, you will see a button with an "A" encircled by an arrow. The button should be located close to your steering wheel on the dashboard.

Emac
Hi Experts, one of my friends has a Toyota Premio, the car's 'idling stop' is not working. the car engine keeps running when it's idil where it should cut off. The 'Auto cut off ' button is on. Car's battery has 65% energy left What might be the cause? any similar experience? please share Thankx

Personally i find this feature annoying as you can feel the car stop and start every few meters when you are in bumper to bumper traffic. Little worried over the fact that the wear and tare also might be high due to frequent stop starts. System will be ideal in situations were you drive for substantial distance may be from one intersection to another and keep the car idling for a minute or so, and not in case where you move few meters every few seconds.
